To win, we need to demonize conservatism

We do need to bear always in mind that the word "conservative" is as demonizable as "liberal." To poison the conservative brand, we need to out-demonize them. Start by pretending there is no difference that matters between "conservative" and "fascist" -- a pretense which in fact grows nearer to the truth every year. Unlike the difference between "liberal" and "communist."

What matters is, conservatism is worthless. In all its forms, that it has taken since American "movement conservatism" got started in 1964.

There is no value whatsoever in racism.

There is no value whatsoever in xenophobia.

There is no value whatsoever in sexism.

There is no value whatsoever in homophobia or transphobia.

There is no value whatsoever in religious/social/cultural traditionalism, and less than none in Christian Nationalism.

There is no value whatsoever in neoliberalism/supply-side economics/economic libertarianism.

There is no value whatsoever in plutocracy.

There is no value whatsoever in middle-class/working-class producerism.

There is no value whatsoever in populist nationalism.

There is no value whatsoever in American exceptionalism.

There is no value whatsoever in neoconservative warhawkery.

There is no value whatsoever in decentralization/local autonomy/"states' rights."

All of these are things America would be -- and someday will be -- much better off without.

And all of these things need to be demonized more fiercely and bitterly and loudly than ever Communism was in any Red-Scare period.

This is the conclusion they reach at the end of every election cycle because The DemocratICK Party has become (temporarily, we hope) dominated by The Hard Left (think anti-[TeaParty/MAGA/Fascist{like Hitler, the Nazi, was}]).

If we won, it was because we were mean, so next time, get meaner.
If we lost, it was because we were not mean enough, get meaner.
We will be sated when there is one Party. Be mean.
It will be sated when there is ONE. Be Meaner.

It’s a minuscule number who would disagree that prejudice and hate are undesirable, of course we need to be rid of it - it still remains that conservatism is not inherently racist, sexist or homophobic

It’s a political philosophy that’s oriented around incremental change and tradition - hence true conservatives would be opposed to Dobbs for example, for suddenly uprooting established rights
The fact that Trump has taken the party from a fiscal conservative/ small govt focus to a neocon/ hard right and sometimes far right focus doesn’t make someone who is a conservative a bigot
