He passed away unexpectedly last night. Kind of odd to say "unexpectedly" given his history of health problems, but he'd been given a clean bill of health at his most recent doctor's appt, and was doing great with his new heart.

His strong opinions may have put some off, but I considered him a friend, and I am saddened by his passing.

Prominent in my thoughts is his lovely wife and slave, H_I_S. She's an incredible lady, and I cannot imagine what she is going through right now.

I remember h_i_s being quite a lovely model. They both loved snakes and there are some incredible pictures of her with some of their rather large but well cared for pets.

Last I heard, INSIDEYOURMIND had a pacemaker. I didn't know about the transplant. Both of them were outspoken at times, but I think they really just preferred their privacy. Once her nick was sinn0cent1, then changed it to h_i_s. The Cafe still has a very popular thread she started. My thoughts go out to h_i_s and the family.

My condolences to H_I_S; I know she'll miss him terribly. I didn't always agree with him, but he seemed to me to be true to himself, and in the long run, that's pretty damned important.

I have to admit that I liked both of them, having been blissfully unaware of the drah-ma.
This sucks.

Both of them had some very good qualities and knowing that he is gone makes my heart hurt for her.

Last I heard, INSIDEYOURMIND had a pacemaker. I didn't know about the transplant.

He got the transplant about a year and a half ago. It was rough going for a while, but everything had stabilized. His last couple of doctor's appts were all positive. There was literally no indication of trouble, from what I've been told.

I think the big thing for me was meeting the two of them in person a few years back. They're both very warm people, and watching the two of them together was a joy. Regardless of how they might have been online, getting to know both in person was really great.

We kept trying to get together again, but they live quite a ways away, and he couldn't travel very far. Hopefully I can rectify that and at least get to see h_i_s again.
