There is always a family member that makes the other(usualy young and helpless) to do acts he or she is forced to do.
You are right about the"bills" but what about the one who was forced?
Only last year while sitting next to a distant family member,he put his hand on my leg and asked to talk to me in my room about "something!" as he said.
When we went up he nearly raped me.
I only got out the room,by agreeing to do it for him later on that day!
He kept calling me for weeks till he gave up.
I found out from another family member that he had forced another analy a few months before,and she had to actualy go to the doctors after wards due to problems down there as a result of his doing,and lie to the doctors about the whole thing.
The problem is you can not tell anyone in the family about it,since there will be hell.
As a small,young and quiet nice looking girl,i can tell you i've had more cocks rubing my back side from family or even strangers,that i have lost count,they seem to think it is all ok!

I think that there are good reasons for some traditional taboos. Incest is one taboo that I think has good reasons behind it. It breaks the trust between family members. More than an afair, it can really destroy a family.

Can? Yes. Always does? I doubt it. A lot of taboos are given more credit than they deserve, without people thinking about it independently. I seriously doubt that it does more damage than infidelity.

Infidelity in a relationship where you understand exclusivity creates feelings of betrayal and mis-trust. It makes you feel like crap.

Incest does this twice. Two people who someone trusted are betraying him or her. A divorce may split a family into two groups, but incest can smash it into many pieces. Besides which, I would think that most true cases of incest come about from some sort of abuse. No father decides when is girl is 18 that now is the time to fuck her. It had to have started earlier. Cousins I could stomach, but nothing in a nuclear family. I know we are all allowed to have our own opinions though. I respect yours, but I don't agree.

Hey, I generalized, but I did manage not to "create" fake statistic to back them up. :) O.K., it ain't an easy topic. I am going back to Sexual Roleplaying now, where I belong. I generalize because I am a storyteller, not a debater. Pin me in a corner with some solid rhetoric and I will squirm.

It's okay. I tend to be a tough debater, as well as apologist for sexual liberation. Naturally, therefore, solid rhetoric comes out a lot and makes me argue....even sometimes on idea threads with people who have little rhetorical experience. Didn't mean to scare ya.
