Sick of folks telling me I should be excited/patriotic about the jubilee or the olympics. Interested in neither!

I should have known at the beginning when the portraits of the famous went up and there's Sir Isaac Newton...three other guys who deserved it, and then...two Beatles? WTF?

I was actually all set to stay up late and watch. I left after Mr. Bean and actually had the hand over the mouth shocked thing happening, with the cringe factor through most of the ceremony.
