How does one go about getting hits for a web site? Is there one way that works better than others? I don't profit off the site or anything.. It's just nice to know there are those who do have an intrest in what you write and in some cases people who come back to check it out every so often to see what's new.

Surfing other people's blogs and personal sites, I am noticing pics of people holding up signs and *ahem* body parts with the web site name and a link back to another site gets some attention.. It might be worth looking into.

So, for those that have web sites.. what do you do to increase traffic?

and make people link to you. Return links if you want... but that's how you get your Google rank to crawl up.

Thanks guys.. Big thank you Laurel for the url.. I've only read a bit so far and klike what I am seeing.

I've gone through at least a hundred other blog/personal web sites the past few days and it's funny how sex "sells" the site and gains hits.

I'll have to hire a model or two
