Disclaimer: this is not a post whining about anonymous troll feedback. :)

Got me a peculiar anon feedback mail. Nothing bad, friendly and all. But it had no identification and no return address. I suspect it's one of you fine lasses, though. That's why I reply here:

About what you said: No mah dear, I'm not him. Honestly. What made you think that?
There is something more to it though, if you're interrested in knowing.
Send me some means of replying to you (other than this, it's kind of weird), and I'll explain. :) :rose:

Sorry for being vague, folkls. But it was a personal message, meant to stay private, so I'll keep it that way.

Well it weren't me, but I'm hooked on the story now. Write the explanatory poem, please.

:D

One explanatory poem coming up:

someone zed
              you're him, right?
              nudge nudge
              wink wink
& before I had
time to think
and reply
              I'm not. But you might?
              plus mandatory nudge
              and wink
she ran off
to cradle a secret
I didn't have
in the first place
              just stray dots
              connected wrong
without a trace
an anonymous
but friendly
curious face

t'is not me either, although I have ben known to absentmindedly forget to put my addy but rarelyforget my name, and if you ever want, I have on occasion, been so prompted to send anonymous enticing very explicit emails, but that was just for fun, not for harassing or hurting..just ;lemme know ;)

Liar, could it be the shy Miss Honey123? She seems to have taken a shine to you. Perhaps she had a fit of nerves and hid her eyes behind the fan of Anonymous.

Nopes. I know the girl. She says it ain't her.

Come on, people. It's not that difficult to figure this mystery out... :D
...oh really? And what do you know that I don't? :)

The only mystery is the identity of Ms. Anynymous, which is basically irrelevant. The core issue - the thing that you are trying not to talk about - is pretty transparent. :D

It seems transparent to me too.

Liar, it wasn't me, but if you want to send the reply here, I'll take it. ;)

Gaddammit, it ain't no scary secrets I'm keeping from you lot. :) Just trying to keep the privacy of the ppl involved intact.

I got a mail saying, basically "I should have known you were [another poet, name omitted] in disguise."

Which I'm not. But I can understand why she think I am. That's why I want to get in touch with her and explain the mistake.

And then presented herself with her real life name [also omitted].

Which didn't ring a bell for me. No reply adress, no Lit handle... just a name.

Crystal clear now? Or do I need to draw a cartoon? :)

for a long while, I thought you were someone else too, I wont say who, because I would feel silly if I was right OR wrong cause it doenst matter. I think many of us here have alter egos, I know I do, and sometimes its nice to let normal jean, or mia take over and give maria a rest, they know things she doesnt want to know. so you have a secret admirer? I used to have one and he just stopped, made me kinda sad, oh well, easy come easy come :D

and ange, maybe it really was colonel mustard with the pickle sword hiding in the pantry , drinking up all my bacardi. I never thought about that before!! :p:

A shine? LOL

Now that has me smiling.....

Liar, as you see from his reply, did ask me ~ but it's not me.

One thing about me, Tristesse, I'm not shy.

just so it doesn't come to the point of .."ok, who's left and didn't fess up?"

it wasn't me!;)

It's no secret honey, ya know it was me and don't I still wink in IM? ;)

who thinks he pushed this along by telling a Miss Anonymous as such, which may have resulted in this: "I should have known you were [another poet, name omitted] in disguise." - but I can tell you for sure it was Maria who originally started it with the pickle sword hiding in the pantry, drinking up all my bacardi. (ie, in the New Poems thread)
