Taxi driver, whilst driving through Pheonix Park:
"it's the biggest park in Europe... "

The wife unit:
"It's really long..."

Taxi driver:
"It's nearly as wide as it is long...
Now I think of it, it's actually wider than it is long... "


In a cafe to escape the rain:
"We just want coffee..."

"No problem... no problem... O'll bring the lunch menu."

later

"We'll just have the soup... and coffee"

"No problem... no problem... would you be having some water?"

45 minutes later.

"We're just making the soup... will you be having some more water?"

You've got to love Ireland and the Irish

Been there any number of times. I enjoy it greatly, particularly the West Coast. Even thought of moving there some years ago, but ended up breaking with the g/f in question at the time--it was a much better option.

It's wonderful and I think everyone should see it. It's polite, quiet, peaceful, and safe as a general rule. What they think of as dangerous urban stuff, we wouldn't even notice.

And they will fucking KILL you with food if they can. My GHOD!
