Unbelievable. What a fight. I am such a huge Felix Trinidad fan now.

My favorite part of the fight was right after the first round when Vargas - who'd been knocked on his ass twice in the first 30 seconds - staggered over to a neutral corner and had to be guided back to HIS corner by his people. Too funny!

I think it was actually better than Morales/Barrera.

For humor's sake, Trinidad's next opponent should wear trunks with a bulls-eye painted on the crotch. Studying video of Gerry Cooney/Larry Holmes seems to have come in handy for Felix.

Sorry, I had to butt in. Am I the only one that finds it hard to believe that our sweet, gentle, any stray is welcome in my house, Laurel loves boxing? Not only loves it but is a rabid fan? Just too much for me to handle. I cannot imagine her at the fights, front row seats and being the one who gets expelled for standing and cussing at the referee.

Umm. I don't know what to say as I don't know anything at all about boxing except it looks so darn violent. Oh, I live a few miles from the Boxing Hall of Fame? Does that count? Okay. Leaving the thread now. Just had to comment.

Imagine it? Hell, I fantasize about it. Although in my version Laurel gets expelled for taking her top off, Deborah handles the refbaiting. I am still working on a ring girl to carry the roundcards.

Back to reality, Boxing is a really neat struggle to maintain your cerebral control while you are viscerally pounded. Now admittedly, some of these guys don't have a lot of grey matter to begin with but at its best, no sport can be so exhilarating.
