Jack Bayer stood at the rail of the Titanic, looking down at the icy water below and contemplating what would happen if he were to jump, how long it would take him to die. He wondered if he would drown or if he would freeze to death or if the trauma of hitting the water from the height of the rail would kill him immediately. He wondered if it would hurt.
Then he turned away from the rail, shivering and blinked as he bumped into a young woman.
"I'm sorry, miss," he said, placing his hand on her hip to politely keep her from tripping over the rail. "My name is Jack. Jack Bayer. What's yours?"
(One woman, please. I want someone who can make detailed, reasonably-long posts. Thank you)
