Anyone have any? Window down, music loud, caffeine. Anything else that is really helpful? I am an hour and a half into a six hour drive and realized it's going to be a long 4.5 hours. I stopped and took my dog for a walk so I am hoping that will help...anything else I can try?

Don't eat till you get home...if you must eat a tiny tiny bit just to curb the edge.

If it's too much pull over and power nap in a well lit/populated area, your life ain't worth pushing yourself into a phone pole.

I'm trying! I think I will be stopping a lot.

Funny you should say that, I just downloaded something for that. I am hoping a good book will help! Although if the speakers voice is mellow and soothing that may be a problem and make things worse

Its a 5 hour drive. Get ....driving.

All this fartin around is wasting time and it's getting late.

I like to drive fast with purpose that keeps me awake. Going the speed limit puts me right to sleep. I don't recommend that to you but you better get moving.

Talk to the dog.

Yes, take a nap if you are really tired. :)

Turn air conditioner up. Eat some salted almonds, just the plain salted ones, there are everywhere nowadays. Drink water.

If you find yourself nodding off, go sleep somewhere well populated in the car with it off, docks locked windows up.

Drive to your own limits, stop and take a nap if needed, better to arrive late than not at all.
Get out of the car at least every two hours, don't snack on carbs...

Pick up the next hitchhiker that has an unusually large duffel bag, and let him sit right behind you. You won't feel sleepy for the rest of the trip.

really loud polka music

Although this would oro baby keep me awake, I w I uld probably lying also want to drive head first into a tree to make it stop

I am not eating...I do not partake of caffeine often so the monsters I got are working well

If it comes to that I will. Right now I feel a little better!

Take a E pill. Nah, just kidding.

Lol smooth. I have never taken one. I don't think now is the best time to start!

Every two hours is about the distance between rest areas...perfect!

Shoot, I just missed one!

Don't text and drive!

Sorry, I'm no help. I'm in the car 30 mins and want to nap like a baby.

What I used to do is slap myself really hard. That will get your attention and keep you from falling asleep for a good long while if you do it right.

I didn't want to say anything but you know that white van that's been following you.... Boogey man.

In addition to all the other helpful hints, adjust the seat slightly out of your comfort range. Sit up straighter than normal.

Get really upset about something. Sometimes I think about how I will never be an astronaut and I will get incredibly anxious about wasting my life, and freak out and then not sleep.

This doesn't sound quite "right".
