I realize I haven't contributed all that much to Chyoo but I have read a great deal of the stories and have come to the conclusion that while MOST of the posts are quite good, there are more then a few authors that don't take the time to make a thread coherent at the very least.

Here are some things everyone should do before submitting a thread:

-Spellcheck is very important because it makes the writing seem more professional.

-Re-read your work so that at the very least the sentences are coherent, for example, "she tied chain to wall." things like this are painful to read and actually detract from the readers enjoyment of reading.

-At the very least capitalize when needed and put periods at the end of sentences.

-Don't post single sentences. I realize that not everyone can post 500-1000 or more words every single post but one senence threads are absolutely pointless and not worth writing in the first place.

-Try for continuity and accuracy in your writing.

Remember that its better to post 1 good threat then 100 terrible ones.

You mean spelling errors like "Remember that its better to post 1 good threat then 100 terrible ones." :D :p
But I do agree with you about the one sentence thing. Another thing that I pick up on that bugs me is when the end of a thread and the follow up question only lets you go one way with the story. Or they end it with "And so and so says." And you have to write what they say..It's not that big of a deal but its hard to continue sometimes. It would be cool if chyoo (the lazy bastards who need to check their site more often) would put in a built in spell checker. Cuz i use notepad to write my stories and then i have to open up aol to use its spell check cuz im too lazy to reinstall my microsoft works. Long posts can get boring though...but that could just be me cuz i have ADD. But most writers in Chyoo kick ass at writing.

ieSpell.cm

I use a program that checks spelling in explorer called ieSpell. You can get it a ieSpell.com. It is not as good as the spell check in word, but it does a pretty good job. I know that it has been a great help to me as I am terrible at spelling.

I also recommend this program. I think it's great for writing e-mails or threads in chyoo.
