Seems Tipper was afraid that Americas Youth might be seriously damaged by listening to harmfull lyrics.

Soon others were suggesting that if you played some music backwards, you could actually hear the Devil himself polluting the minds of young children.

At the time I thought it was gonna be the downfall of Western Civilization (although saying that Tipper "made" anyone do anything is a little simplistic don't ya think?). Of course, at the same time I also thought that David Lee Roth leaving Van Halen was going to be the downfall of Western Civilization.

Of course, now I'm 15 years older and I'm just wondering... Have any of America's Youth been damaged in the last 15 years by reading a warning sticker?

Lasher will be honest cats have made me nervous every since an old roommate's kitty ate her own kitten shortly after birth. ((((SHUDDERS))))). I have a very wary regard for the feline population and wonder what else they do when we aren't looking.

Damn, I missed it! Lasher came out to play with a new toy on the board (give up, Johnny!) and I was off answering email last night.

I can relate to being called different labels by different people. Some say I am conservative, some think I'm a bleeding heart liberal. I am neither one all of the time. My attitude will switch depending on the issue under discussion. But it is fun when the same person calls you Conservative one day and Liberal the next! Gotta keep 'em guessing.
