Okay ladies and germs...I'm new here (but not new to writing) and figured I'd give these fora a test drive. I'd like to eventually start a full-fledged adventure, but for now I'd like to do something simple. Just to introduce myself, and to get an idea of the calibre of writers who frequent these fora. As you will see, the plotline of the story is nothing earth-shakingly new. But I do have more original, innovative ideas to bring in down the road if this goes well.
The character I will play is Tina. She is an upper-class woman, around 40, and rather full of herself. She has just inherited her late mother's house and estate. It's a respectable four-bedroom house on a decent plot of land. Of course, she acts like it's an English duke's grand estate.
Her mother, who was getting on in years, didn't keep up the grounds as she should have. So now Tina has hired a landscaping crew. Mostly migrants. Pretty rough characters even when treated well. Tina doesn't treat them all that well. No, not at all. And so they decide to teach Tina a lesson...
I have an essentially unlimited number of openings for the migrant work crew. Pretty much anything goes in what they do. If you're interested, reply with a character concept. When I get a couple people (or one person willing to play the crew), we'll begin.
