I dont know if there is already a story on here apart from Cockstoppers, but i think that a story about a guy who inherits a magic watch that can stop time would b great. He could have fun with celebs and whoever.

Is there a story on here like this that i am missing? Anyone interested in writting it?

I think there was a Clockstoppers thread before. I recall thinking it was a good idea. Still do. If the writer chose not to do celebs, could play nicely as an incest story. Mom wondering howcum she's preggers when Dad was fixed and she never has 'done' anyone else, etc.

There's a Nicolson Baker novel (the Fermata? I think it was that one) that works a bit around that concept. Not really hard-core erotica, but definitely dealing a bit with sexual perversions enabled by stopping time.

This sci-fi device has been around for quite a while:

For example, from The Twilight Zone comes A Kind of Stopwatch first broadcast on October 18, 1963.

A loud-mouthed idea man receives a stopwatch that stops time. He uses it to goof around and robs a bank, but when he accidentally breaks the watch, time freezes and he's stuck in a still world.

Starred: Richard Erdman. Roy Roberts & Herb Faye.

Michael Valentine Smith was able to slow down time in order to drive faster safely in Robert Heinlein’s Stranger In A Strange Land

It was also mentioned in Mary Chase’s 1946 Pulitzer Prize-Winning Play, “Harvey,” where the pookha -- 6 foot invisible rabbit -- offeres to fulfil Dr. Chumley’s greatest wish, which evokes Elwood P. Dowd’s classic response: Wouldn't that get a little monotonous, just Akron, cold beer and 'poor, poor thing' for two weeks?

The earliest mention, that I can recall, which involves a form of clockstopping would be the incident in the Bible, Joshua, 10/13 where Joshua prayed for God to stop the sun, and He did.

yes but i am talking about the idea in an erotic sense where someone can stop time to use for their pleasure

Lady Slings the Booze, by Spider Robinson, has such a theme.

I had an idea for a story rather in this vein some time ago.

A fairly unpopular and sexually-inexperienced guy gets his hands on a magic watch. HOWEVER...instead of stopping time, the watch REWINDS it. That is, he can literally move time backward at his command, up to several minutes at a stretch. He remembers everything that happens, but no one else does. If he doesn't like how an event sequence went one time, he can rewind and act differently to change the outcome on future playthroughs.

You can imagine the possibilities. Have sex with someone (willingly or otherwise), rewind, and it's like it never happened (for THEM, at least). Rewind after crucial actions or decisions if something goes wrong. Gain pseudo-clairvoyance by replaying events after you already know what happens.

Save lives. Win big at the races. Keep retrying a conversation with a hottie until you finally get it right (and get her in the sack). Perhaps best of all, have an orgasm, then rewind and have it again...and again...and again... :D

Well, you get the idea...there's a lot of ways you could go with this.
