I am looking for a story that was fairly complex. A man and woman fall in love and get married. They have a daughter together. Then the wife cheats or at least the husband believes she has cheated. Can't remember now if she actually cheated or that the husband just thinks she did. There was another child born, a boy and the husband believes the boy is from the cheating.
The most astonishing thing about this story is that the husband meets an old woman who wants to help him. It turns out the old woman is the couple'S daughter WHO HAS TRAVELED BACK IN TIME TO HELP HER PARENTS. I don't recall how the story is categorized. It would make sense that is is categorized as Sci Fi but I don't know if that's the case or not. I have looked in Sci Fi but so far have not found it.
