Thinking of writing a story about a son that goes back in time to when his mother is his age and he fucks her. I've read a story with this plot but what I'm interested in doing is having the son impregnate her, and him being his own father. Is that possible or would it be a paradox?

I think in Star Trek: The Next Generation, they called it a Mobius Time Loop.
But paradox is fine in a story. It's the science fiction stories like this that have raised the questions in the first place. Like the classic example of a son going back in time and he kills his father before his father met his mother. If the father was dead and never got the mother pregnant with the son, how could the son go back in time and kill his father?
Your story is pretty much the same thing. You're just replacing the violence with a good, Literotica fun time!

While I'm not a big fan of incest stories, I do like this idea. Though the story I have considered writing involves a son going back, having a one-nighter with his grandmother, unkowingly. Then he becomes the father of his mother and his own grandpa. I have various pieces of a story, but just need something to tie it all together.

Son goes back, impregnates grandmother, thus creating his mother....
Then, same guy goes back and impregnates his mother... so his mother is both his mother and his daughter...

Actually, it was also a storyline in Futurama where Fry travels back to the 1950s and accidentally impregnates his grandmother.
Not saying it's not a good idea for a story--I think it's a really fun plot line.

Robert A. Heinlein did this type of thing in Time Enough For Love.
I wasn't thrilled with that particular book it was a little too convoluted for me, but I love a lot of his stuff.
Group marriages made sense to me in The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress.
Having a man's mind put into a female's body in, I Will Fear No Evil and letting him experience sex as a woman.
He wrote lots of interesting stuff.

How about someone travelling forward in time to have sex with his/her descendants? Like, a man goes a hundred years into the future and decides to look up his descendants, but finds that he has none, because his daughter became a nun. So he travels back eighty years (twenty years forward from his present) to when his daughter is a young woman, and impregnates her, so that his family line will continue.

The point that some make in this thread about changes in the time line would need working out, what if he fucks his mother and the person that really sired him never did the deed, he would not be born and his prodigy would not be him.

As near as I can figure it, there is no way a man could go back in time and father himself. However it would be possible to go back in time and father a brother or sister.
Not quite the same, but as close as you can get to your original idea according to the theoritical laws of time travel.

I say as long as it is filled with beauty and passion, anything theme is fine. It’s the goal that makes a story good. Have a commendable goal most can relate to, and have them do everything it takes to reach that.
Having written many mother/son romance stories, I like the idea. Plus, I ADORE the theme of impregnation. Making his mother pregnant should written as something deeply personal for the woman. Trust me, we girls know...
Crafting your story is entirely up to you. You can frame it in the time travel context, but as long as it’s believable and credible, anything is possible. BUT... I would highly suggest that you don’t use a machine or a car for travelling back in time. Make it more of a mind’s journey into the impossible. (i.e., Somewhere in Time) If it were me, I’d make the son madly in love with his mother, and willing to do whatever he can to be with her.
Just my 2 cents worth though.

I think that under some theories of the space/time continuum, it is possible: many models for time travel deal with the idea that time-travel into the past is actually a revision of the past: you go back and sort of overwrite the previous version of history. But then there's the idea that all these loops in time already exist. If we travel back in time, we aren't rewriting history, because our own history .
For example, let's say that all a particular man knows about his father is that he was a stranger that his mother met when she was 20, and that he disappeared soon after the mother was impregnated. Searching for a story I once read???
I have been searching all over the net for this story I read once and can not seem to find it again at least on a free site. And since its of incest and if I remember correctly the age of the son was not 18 it's not on this site.
But it's went a little something like this, husband taking a shower getting ready for work. Wife still sleeping husband leaves for work son gets in shower wife hears shower still thinking its husband gets in and starts jerking off son and then giving him a bj until she realized it was her son? Not sure of rest.

When I first saw the movie Back to the Future I was wondering what would happen if he had fucked his mother. So I think it would make an interesting story.
Sure there might be problems in the "what if" but that can be the twist.
For instance, you can make up a rule that no matter what you do back in time, the future still cannot be changed. Even if you get your mother pregnant....she will have a miscarriage and still give birth to you.
OR...you get her pregnant, and when you return to the future, you find you have changed into some mongaloid-inbred freak.
Don't bog yourself down with the science and run off and take a theoretical physics class. But if you really want to know......
Think of a bicycle wheel with spokes. The center is the point where you first travel in time. Now each time you travel and change something in the past....you are on a different spoke. If you kill your mother in the past, you are on a different timeline than the one you started from and can't return, because if you did...you would be dead. Now you are stuck in the past on a different timeline of events. It's like different universes (see the tv show Sliders). But all this has nothing to do with fucking.
