The latest organized effort to censor, marginalize, and silence any views that the establishment doesn't approve of is this organized coordination between large corporations to force Google to deny advertising to politically incorrect sites, presumably this will include YouTube which is owned by Google. This is part of the larger effort to effectively ban or marginalize unapproved views on Facebook, Twitter, and other Big Internet platforms under the so-called "fake news" pretext.
Its gotten to the point that half the populations views are being pushed out of the public discourse and even more controversial views openly persecuted with censorship, boycotts, bannings, protests, black listings, and other methods.
We have anti-discrimination laws for all sorts of things that have little to do with their primary original purpose (ending systematic discrimination against black people). Inserting one's penis in another man's butthole is protected from discrimination. You can dress up in the clothes of the opposite sex and your employer can do nothing. Its even illegal to join a boycott of Israel. There are laws up the wazoo banning all sorts of discrimination, boycotts, etc.
Yet, perhaps the mostly obvious category other than race, political or philosophical opinion, essential for any democracy to function properly is explicitly not protected. Its time Congress look into this growing problem and do something to protect everyone's rights to be free from political discrimination.
