How long do you spend writing in a single session?

Have you ever finished a story in one session?

If not, how many writing sessions does it typically take you?

Do any of your stories "change" plot, storyline or theme while you are writing them?

Do you write alone, or does someone watch/help?

Could you write alone, or with someone watching?

What if they had no idea your wrote erotica?

I have finished the occassional piece in a single sitting, but they have usually been quite short and it has been very rare...

usually it takes a couple weeks at absolute minimum...

It totally depends on the story. There are no absolutes or averages in my writing. Anything and everything can happen when I sit down to write.

I can't vote twice, unfortunately.

Short pieces of smut take one to three days. I'd say between two to six weeks for my longer pieces.

:How long do you spend writing in a single session?

Really depends. On average I'd say 1-2 hour blocks.

:Have you ever finished a story in one session?

Yes, a couple of my shorter ones I finished principle writing in one session (re-read and edited later)

:If not, how many writing sessions does it typically take you?

Very dependant on the length of the story

: Do any of your stories "change" plot, storyline or theme while you are writing them?

Sometimes, although usually I know the story I want to tell.

: Do you write alone, or does someone watch/help?

Alone

:Could you write alone, or with someone watching?

A watcher would be distracting.

:What if they had no idea your wrote erotica?

Hehe.

Man, i can't answer this one!
I see my idea in one go, but I can't always retain it long enough to put it into shape. Then it's long hard slogging, and you'd think that describing a good fuck would come second nature by now...

The story that I submitted today- was so vivid in my mind that I almost crashed my car, I was halfway in that darkened living room with the two men. But that was six weeks ago!

It is really difficult for me to pin that down to just one of the options as well. I just finished a shorter story in a single session, which was about 5-6 hours. There's another one I worked on for about a week, there have been some I havé sat on for months. There are some I still haven't finished after a year, but I may (if I find the inspiration... I desperately want to get them done). So... yeah.

The 'creative' part comes in an instant. Writing it down takes forever, I'm currently editing a chapter written fifteen months ago :D

My halloween entry was written in a day.
