Till Death Do Us Part (Closed for Sinful Whispers & Rock)

The water was cool and soothing upon her flesh as she swam through it slowly just enjoying herself and the peacefulness as she was the only one home, other then their servants this new morning and decided to start it off with a swim. Not having her morning juice she was dying of thirst, she knew all she needed to do was open her mouth and take a few gulps of the water but she didn’t she was saving herself for that first taste of fresh brewed French vanilla coffee that she loved to well to land upon her tongue, plus she wanted to swim to the far end first.

The pool was indoors and heated to bath water temperature, everything around it was done in either black and white marble or black and gold from the statues that lined the walls around the huge pool to everything trivial like the pieces of furniture that were manly and masculine looking that her darling husband of many years had chosen when they bought the estate after coming over from abroad. The arch was just ahead about fifteen feet; she could smell the scent of orchids that filled the adjoining room the pool went into. She swam through the huge and ornately carved arch and turned over upon her back allowing her bared breasts to stick out from the water as she did the backstroke to the very end.

Once to the end she rested against the wall, her arms rested upon the cold marble behind her as well as her back as she kicked her feet within the water doing a few fun exercises even though they were nothing close to being that as she just felt like splashing water everywhere. She knew it infuriated her husband to walk in the pool house and slip on the soles of his fancy expensive shoes.

She swam to the marble steps that led into the pool and stepped up them as her fingers gripped the fancy carved railing. As she stepped from the water her hair laid tightly against her back, the end tips landing right where her firm buttocks began, her tress was long and thick normally locks of dark red colored spiral curls that seemed to be like her long slender legs going from the floor to heaven except the curls started at her ass and went up. She reached up and ran her fingers through it shaking it out a bit as the extra droplets went here and there like when a dog shakes after a bath.

Moving around the marble floor carefully not to slip in the puddles of water she seem to glide across the floor, as she headed to the dressing room that was right off the pool area. The east wall was nothing but see through glass windows from one end to the other with assorted green foliage that lined it with exquisite bright blooms in an array of various colors, almost looking like a lined up rainbow. She padded about the cold floor taking the side by the east windows as she could feel the bright morning sun shining through them as well as the marble floor change temperature from cold to very warm on the soles of her wet feet. It never bothered her to have anyone see her walk stark naked, it was her home, her domain, she as mistress of the estate did as she wanted and did it when she wanted to. These days she answered to nobody, not even her rich and powerful husband Lord Edmund Raleigh Dumas.

Lady Elena Katherine was promised to Lord Edmund before they even knew each other existed. It was an arranged marriage through both their families, like part of a business deal. Each side came from money, they were to wed once both turned of age and at the age of eighteen and fresh out of finishing school the gala was held to honor their families plans for both. They wed on the family estate of the Dumas’s, in the Dumas family private church, there were more guests then Elena could even count. Most neither of the two knew, it was more a business gala then a wedding to Elena, it was very formal, perhaps to formal for her taste.

They had honeymooned in the Caribbean for two weeks, on her family’s private yacht. The honeymoon didn’t go as well as she would have liked, he was always getting ship to shore calls dealing with business, and the fact they hardly knew each other before they wed. She was quiet, virginal and very refined; she was known as a handsome playboy that jetted around the world. He father said he was a man, and all men sow their oats like that before settling down with one woman, and that she needed to not worry what he was doing and worry about herself and the upcoming nuptials.

Once they returned home, their parents had bought them their first estate, where they settled in and lived for the first fourteen years of their marriage. They never seemed to mesh as a couple, that happily married couple that fairytales were made of. She knew there were other woman, she turned cheek and tried to not let it bother her as much as it once did at first. They had a name for themselves already, business was plentiful, and it was time to expand. They flew to America where Edmund had already visited many a times on business, and he had bought a huge estate for them to live upon. Elena followed with him, she really didn’t wish to leave their home land but had no choice, and a wife went and did as her husband said, least that’s the way she was raised.

They settled nicely within their new home, Edmund continued to do well in business and Elena was involved in various social functions for many things. They threw huge balls within their very own private ballroom to raise money for the charities she delved within. Edmund loved to entertain, he loved to be the center of attraction, and women flaunted themselves at his feet. Even after all these years now, he stood tall and handsome. It seemed the age lines upon his face only made him more attractive as did the touch of grey that was now showing on both sides of his head, it was just enough to add that bit of distinguishing look to him.

Their marriage was defiantly one of convince only, nothing more nothing less. They both did their own thing and met in the middle for business, public and anything that they needed to appear as a couple at. It was getting old though; Elena had her first affair with a young stud she hired to teach her better English when they first came to America. Around that time, Edmund had been seeing a few ladies here and there, he always thought Elena hadn’t ever known but he was sure wrong. She might have been quiet with the knowledge but she was far from stupid. After the affair ended with the your tutor, there was a few flings here and there, trivial meetings for sex and nothing more, she knew that its all it could be, that there was no emotional attachments to be formed.

They had been married well over their twentieth year anniversary; in fact it was now going on their twenty-fifth. They were both forty-three in age and still had a very youthful appearance. Elena worked out vigorously daily, as Edmund never seemed to gain a pound, no matter what he took into his stomach, but she knew that would catch up to him, as he was already starting to get a small little gut on him, his chest hairs were showing grey, she didn’t know about his pubic hairs as they hardly ever made love, or as she would have put it, had sex.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been the evening of their catered twenty-fifth gala anniversary event, after everyone left and the help was cleaning up the mess, Elena had wandered up to her bedroom, by now they were in separate bedrooms and have been for many years. She heard sounds coming from Edmund’s bedroom and reached for the knob, and turned it slowly as well as quietly. She opened it carefully not wanting him to hear her as she looked upon the bed and saw her husband with one of the hired younger female servers. Elena stood there for a second, and watched as they both turned their heads and looked at her as she stood in the doorway. “You bastard Edmund, you couldn’t even keep your cock in your pants for one night could you?” she screamed at him, no longer caring who heard her in the house.
Elena watched as he quickly jumped off the girl whose legs were up on his shoulders, he scrambled for his clothing and tried to get dressed, by this time she had seen enough, she slammed the door as hard as she could and quickly ran to her room. Opening the door quickly she slammed it like she did his, hard as she could and knew that anyone in the house could hear her and again she could have cared less as she locked it behind her. That was the last straw, she had enough of the charade, and she wanted a divorce. They had enough lawyers that she could choose from.
She heard the door knob rattle and then pounding on the door as Edmund tried to open it, and Elena decided she wasn’t going to answer it, she didn’t want to see his face. She was disgusted, it wasn’t fine that he had affairs, or even kept women who he footed the bill for, she dealt with that but when he began fucking them in their own home, that was it. “Go away you bastard, I want a divorce!” She screamed out and then ran to the bathroom and sat at her vanity table and cries softly. She was a strong willed female but this was pushing it, this was way cross the line, even her few affairs were never carried on in the house, she had the decency to meet outside their property.
Edmund banged on the door, but the physical act seemed to contradict what was running through his mind. If Elena opened the door as his pounding seemed to insist, then he would have to look at her. This was something he definitely did NOT want to endure. Not now, and hopefully not ever again. Edmund was truly and completely sick of Elena, sick of her snobbishness, boorishness, he fake humbleness that just seemed to get in his brain and bounce around like a cheap bullet.
Why was he banging on the door, why was he demanding that she open it when he wanted to be as far from her as possible? Was it because it was what was expected, what a man that found himself in this slightly untoward, embarrassing situation was supposed to do? Edmund stopped banging on the door and took a step back and just looked at it. He was as sick of that type of thinking as he was of Elena. He had long ago tired of doing what was expected of him, behaving in such a way that people could count on, like rain in the spring. Sure. Dependable Edmund. He’ll play the game, everyone thought. We can count on him to come through. And be a good boy.
Those days were over.
Edmund turned back towards his bedroom, passing the hung portraits of his ancestors that for some ungodly reason had followed them to America and had been placed on the walls of the home in an identical fashion as they had back in Europe. This was madness to Edmund, but like most things, they were done without anyone asking him. In fact, like many occurrences, they happened without anyone asking anyone else if they should be done. The blasted ancestor portraits were hung by someone just because it was always done. To Edmund, this was madness.
He entered his bedroom, noticing that his young lover was long gone, most likely running away scared to death. He slammed the door behind him, making sure that his slam was as loud if not louder than hers. This would be a pattern in his life, he would soon learn – defeating her, besting her, competing with her. And he would win. Divorce? He laughed to himself as he sat at a small desk he had set up in his bedroom and logged onto the computer. Divorce? Fine with him. But it would be on his terms. And one of his terms would be her suffering, long and terrible suffering. He would isolate her, cut her off from everything the snobby bitch had come to take for granted.
He would start with the lawyers. These lawyers were retained by the Dumas family. Edmund was a Dumas. Elena was a Dumas, but only by marriage. And she wanted to end that marriage? Well, that would be very interesting indeed. It might be difficult to retain a Dumas family attorney if you were no longer a Dumas. Edmund fired off a few furious emails to any and all of the kept lawyers he thought she might contact. While he did this, he contacted several more, informing all of them of the impending storm on the horizon, and giving them clear directions that they were NOT to take calls from Elena.
Next, the chauffeurs. It was time to immobilize Elena. Each of the drivers were instructed clearly that Elena was no longer entitled to car privileges. Many of these employees had been loyal to Elena for many years, and were not shy about expressing their concern about Edmund’s request. He had expected this, and was able to think quickly enough to make his plan a reality.
“I know this is difficult,” Edmund said to the driver, Gerald he believed his name was, “and believe me this is even more difficult for me, most of all. It seems Elena has entered into a new relationship, outside of our marriage, with a woman. I know this is hard to believe, and I understand that this is quite a shock, but believe me when I tell you, removing her from all activities concerning this house is in all of our interest.”
Edmund didn’t have to execute the next part of the plan. He had started a rumor, one of the most dangerous weapons you could deploy against an enemy. And here he had used it on the first day of this battle, a battle that was the first of what was sure to be a long, long war.
Elena had enough; she was at the point that when the affairs were brought into the house her dear sweet husband had crossed the line. She sat at her vanity table and held her head within her hands and began to cry. It wasn’t tears from her marriage failing, it wasn’t tears of actually seeing him fucking a younger woman but more tears of anger. She heard him give the door a last pounding as she screamed out “Fuck you bastard! You will regret this day you no good son-of-a-bitch!”
She looked at her self in the gold trimmed Victorian mirror that was before her, the same mirror that she looked in every day when she applied the bit of make-up to only add color to her face. She still showed very little age in her face, she didn’t appear to be a woman in her low forties to look at her. She always took very good care of herself, unlike some of the other women in her family, sure she had that little bit of extra around the middle but it wasn’t anything that was of importance to work till the death to get rid of, so she could pinch an inch.
She could still wear a bikini if she wanted to and look sexy, but she preferred the raw instead, that was one of the things she missed about European ways, the topless beached they could visit freely unlike the clothing mandatory ruled ones in the states. It wasn’t easy but she managed now and then to get out and enjoy the topless beaches without anyone knowing who she was, here she only had the private grounds they lived on to do as she wished and it wasn’t the same.
Elena undressed, looked herself over in the full length mirror wondering what ever happened to her, how she got lost, how her marriage went to hell so fast. Even though it was arranged, there were parts of it when it was once happy, there was the good and the bad in everything. Even with both of them having affairs here and there they still had time for sex with each other, just something went awry in the last few years. She sighed softly, wiped her tears and crawled into bed letting the night suck her within finally and lead her to find sleep.
That morning she woke and knew that she had to carry out her decision, there was no turning back at that point if she made an idle threat she better go through with it or he’ll walk all over her with both feet and hard. Elena got up and moved around her bedroom slowly, she rang down to have the cook send up one of the help with her breakfast, fresh coffee and juice and then slipped on her robe. She opened the terrace doors and stepped out upon the balcony and took a seat. The buzzer went off just as soon as she settled in as she groaned and got up. “Yes Chloe...M-h-m-m...I’ll take it thank you.”
Elena grabbed the phone and dreaded the first morning call as she wished they could have waited till after she had her coffee and her. “Hello Victoria, what a pleasant surprise so early in the morning.” Victoria Winthrop, busy-body of all busybodies around. “W-what? You have got to be kidding me, that’s absurd but I bet I know where it came from!” Elena went silent for a bit, and explained what had happened last evening, figuring might as well do a little damage control. “So after all of that happened I demanded a divorce, I’m so tired of the tramps Victoria, and the younger men, he blames me for have a female lover just to cover up his own indiscretions with other men. When we were married it was an arranged thing between families back in Europe, that’s how things were done then and still are here and there. By the time we were married I was dreading it but my father forced the issue, stating it was a done deal….” Elena really pushed the story and knew that good ol’ Vicky would blab it to everyone about. “M-h-mm, he was bisexual then and still is now, I felt like his family used me as a cover-up to hide it.” She heard the knock upon the door and called for the help to come in.
The older woman placed the tray on the table and quickly scooted out the door closing it behind her letting the madam of the house have her privacy, not like the help didn’t know what was going on, maybe not fully but Elena was sure they had the idea after the screaming and the pounding, as well as the slamming of the doors. Once she hung up with Victoria she knew ever phone around would be burning up with the news of the divorce as well as not only her sex life but now his as well. Elena snickered and then whispered to the wind “touché’ Edmund…touché’ “
Elena had an appointment this morning; she also needed to call the lawyers. She finished breakfast, rang for the tray to be picked up and once that was done she called the family lawyer, and shook her head as they refused to get involved with the mess. They said that incase of a divorce they were to call one lawyer who was familiar with the family and was as well the third party in their marriage and always has been since day one of the wedded agreement. This was the first that she had heard this; it caused her to raise a brow as she looked over the number and then wondered if Edmund had called yet, didn’t matter she dialed the number…
“Hello law office of Marla Grey, this is Cameron may I help you?”
Elena was surprised, that name sounded awfully familiar, Marla Grey. She thought to herself for a few seconds and then answered the woman. “This is a bit awkward but I was referred to Mrs. Grey by my own family lawyers.” Elena listened to the woman speak, then answered her , “Dumas is my married name and my maiden name is …” and before she got it slit out the woman placed her on hold which rose curiousness within Elena and thought that Edmund had probably already called.
The woman picked back up and began to speak once more, “Miss. Grey would like to see you and Mr. Dumas in her office today at four PM, is that possible? She said you both need to be together in order for her to take any action further in a case of divorce between you both.”
Elena knew she had no other choice but to agree, and the secretary went on...”Miss Grey will reach Mr. Dumas and make sure he knows the same. If that is Mrs. Dumas all she will see you then. Have a good day Mrs. Dumas.” She hung up the phone, and called down to make sure there was a driver and car available to take her into the city. Elena flipped when she was told the drivers were no longer accessible to her, she slammed the phone down and called out to use a private limo company. This made her infuriated, she was entitled to everything and anything they had, she swore she’d fix his ass.
Once she was ready, she was informed her car was around front and waiting. Elena went down and went to her hair dressing appointment and from there she met Danielle Duvall, and began to whip the shit out of Edmund to the Tattler, a rag mag that was sure enough going to bring attention to him, and not in a good way. Elena began to tell of Edmund’s affairs mainly the bisexual ones and she was even pissed enough to hire a young man and pay him well enough to say he was indeed with Edmund in Europe when he was there last. Then she said that Edmund has a few children and they were with another, not hers with younger females that he neglects. Elena laid it on thick, she smeared him as she continued to answer questions, and she made sure she looked like the one who was getting the bum rap.
Once lunch was over Elena went back to the state and called her parents letting a message that she was divorcing Edmund. Of course she got the hired help and they were out in the Rivera on a cruise, she hung the phone up and sighed softly, looked to the time and realized it was almost time to meet the lawyer, she wondered where the day went. The war has begun Elena thought and she wasn’t going down without a fight.
