Closed for my husband!
I, Lynn Marie Anderson , take thee, Daniel Brian Murphy,
To be my lawfully wedded husband,
Secure in the knowledge that you will be
My constant friend,
My faithful partner in life,
And my one true love.
And on this special day,
I give to you
In the presence of God and all these witnesses
My sacred promise to stay by your side as your faithful wife
In sickness and in health
In joy and in sorrow, as well as
Through the good times and the bad.
I further promise to love you without reservation,
Comfort you in times of distress,
Encourage you to achieve all of your goals,
Laugh with you and cry with you,
Grow with you in mind and spirit,
Always be open and honest with you,
And cherish you til death do us part

Exactly Seven Years Later:
Lynn woke with a start. January 15th. The date screamed at her like a screeching alarm clock.
She hopped out of bed, padded across the cold wooden floors and opened her palm pilot. With just a touch of the wand, the date opened to January 15th. Nothing. Nothing notable, that is. Just a lunch appointment with a computer software rep who’s dying to sign with her company.
Perplexed, she sat at the desk and ran her fingers through her tousled auburn locks. What could possibly woke her with such a start, she wondered. Certainly something had.
A loud snore distracted from the palm pilot to the bed. It was Daniel her husband. He was lying on his stomach, hugging a pillow, and dead to the world. Lynn wondered briefly how late he was up trying to write his book. That damn book! The very thought of that book was enough to drive her mad. He has been working on that novel for five years now, and has no intention on finishing it. Sure it was Lynn who had jumped at his idea and had even encouraged him to resign his firm to follow through on his dream of becoming a writer. But it’s been five friggin long years. She had no idea it would take this long. She figured she would be lapping in the luxury of his success by now.
Lynn watched him sleeping fitfully. Despite the glimmering path of drool from his mouth, he was still handsome, she had to admit. But his lack of motivation and his intent to live under her success was enough to turn her off.
A strange sound between his snores made Lynn peer closer. Then it hit her. The pungent gas was enough to make her run to the bathroom and slam the door.
