You guys helped with my hypochondriac BF once before. The issue he's worrying about now I admit seems odd. You know how your balls shrink up close to your body when you're excited or cold? His are like that all the time. It's very rare for his scrotum to be relaxed. He says it's uncomfortable and that it's something that has come on as he's gotten older. Any ideas? Two possibly useful pieces of information are that he's had a vasectomy and he's a big runner.

without wanting to state the obvious, surely the first port of call is the doc?

I sort of think this one is worth a trip to the doctor but I'm not kidding when I call him a hypochondriac. If he went to see the doctor about every little thing he worried about, the doctor would stop taking him seriously. Plus he oddly combines being a hypochondriac with being a typical tough guy who won't see a doctor unless his arm is hanging by a single tendon. He worries about it; he tells me about it; he uses it as an excuse when he needs one. But he won't see a doctor.

Whatever's going on has been going on for years so it's clearly not critical. If I were able to tell him it was this or that or normal or common, he'd relax about it. On the other hand, if no one here has any insight into this, I'll assume it's abnormal enough that it's worth forcing him to the doctor's.

Well scar tissue stretches less than regular tissue, and a vasectomy would leave some scar tissue...? But I'm totally not an expert on the subject lol.

Mine is the same way and has been for as long as I can remember. There are times when its loose but not often. It isn't body temp I don't think as my girlfriend says I'm like a furnace.

When I was at the urologist one time I was asking about having a vasectomy. He examined me and told me I had thick scrotal skin so that could be what this is. I have to agree though that a visit to his doc is indicated.

How recent was the Vasectomy? I'd ask the urologist who did the surgery.

Sure hope your guy went to the Dr. the symptoms may be nothing but should not be taken lightly,

No, he hasn't been yet. This has been going on for years so it's not likely to kill him overnight. I did tell him that the 'net consensus was that he should go and he said he'd bring it up the next time he's there.

I don't think there's anything to it. I think he is probably a bit of a hypochondriac. The only times my nutsack is drawn up tight is immediately before I cum and for the next little while afterward. I think maybe your man is pounding off a lot and you're giving him some too, and that is creating the effect of keeping his nutsack pretty tight.

Normal scenario. Hypochondriac male. In any event the Dr can answer the question. On the odd chance something IS wrong, I'd be curious to know what it is. Do tell...ok?

Just a question... is he circumcised?

Sometimes in the procedure is performed (especially when done to an infant), too much skin is removed. This causes essentially constant tension on the skin, and the skin on the shaft and the scrotum is always tight. One of the more frequent complications of the procedure.

One of the guys I was seeing recently had a very similar problem... for the reasons stated above. Just a thought to toss out there.

If I were you I'd be concerned about 2 things right now.

1) He's experiencing some discomfort, a sure sign that something isn't quite right.

2) If you're relying on his vasectomy for contraception and he has any kind of trouble with his testicles, you should be worried. Even if it's been going on for years, you might be building up to something that could cause problems. Some vasectomies simply reverse on their own over time. Very few, admittedly, but some.

Get him checked out, if only to put both your minds at rest.

Just my 2 cents. I have had a vasectomy some 20 years ago and have not notice any change in my genitals from the proceedure. My balls hang as far as they ever have, which depends on tempature and arousal. Any scarring from the vasectomy is not noticeable on my scrotum.
