Hello to the both of you. Thanks for stopping by. Let me preface this thread by saying that I have a rather high opinion of the pair you you. You both seem like good, fun loving people, and you have both treated me kindly in our encounters. You bring so much to the Board. But.....


You knew there was a but coming, didn't you? While I have enjoyed your presence as posters, I must confess I'm not as pleased with your performance as moderators.

It's a thankless job, I know, and one that entails great responsibility. I don't envy you.
It is also an important job. I understand the need. You have to keep your eyes out for minors, and for people who clearly cross the line.

However, I have found the pair of you to be a bit heavy handed in your duties. Under your watchful eye, the Personal Board has become incredibly dry. There used to be a sense of fun over there. Now, anything that deviates in the slightest is verboten.

I have personally placed one Personal. It was a joke. A silly thread deliberately designed to draw a few laughs. It served its purpose. People laughed. But a strange thing happened. Someone actually responded to it. And a very nice friendship developed.
If I posted the same thread today, however, it would have been quickly removed, and I would have lost out on something pretty nice.

I hope you take my criticism in the spirit in which it was meant. I think the two of you serve and important purpose. However, it is my hope that as you get more comfortable in your duties, you will step back a bit and ease up on some of the extraneous things that were so common before you took over. Some of the ads are just plain silly, and deserve a silly response. Flirting should not be frowned upon. Please bring back the fun Personal Board.

As soon as I posted this, I was struck by the poor timing. I am sorry for your loss, and hope that you understand that this was not meant as a personal attack, but rather as a piece of constructive criticism.

Nitelight, I didn't take anything you said as a personal attack. If the thread you are talking about was that Looking For Pussy In NJ, then keep in mind that I never moved it. Laurel did. When the personals area first came out, I posted a BS funny ad too, and Laurel deleted that one as well. I only advise people when their thread sounds like it belongs in a different board, delete threads from obvious minors, and delete/edit things upon a personal request from the thread's "author". I never intended for the personals area to not be fun anymore. Sorry.

Nitelight,the only thing I have messed with was your post earlier today,where you asked Tiggs to remove it,I thought you were joking but still one joke leads to another and soon the guy's thread would have been a joke,so I took action.Sure there was no posting in over a month or two,but still he could have gotten some responses,but I will take your advise and lighten up a little.


And Nitelight,thanks for the advice, I will try harder to be a better mod,looking over a fun board.

Listen. If anything is getting old here its ragging on Tiggs. She didn't do a god damn thing to warent saying that she was whining. Where do you get the idea that she was whining? I really don't see it. I truly do believe that it is YOU that needs to stop whining my dear. Its not even old anymore. Its just sad. Whatever sort of a hate on you have for her why don't you simply come out and say it for once. All this: "Tiggs, blah, blah, blah... Whore, blah blah, blah. Compensating for my own inadequacies by dishing on someone I really have no clue about... Blah, blah, blah..." Is really pathetic. Can't you see that?
