‘Tis the night before Christmas and it is the only time of the year when children eagerly wait to go to bed early, leaving their parents to wrap up their presents and start their preparations for tomorrow’s festivities.
It is also the night that I have decided to throw my Christmas Party for all my fellow players in Lit. A small dinner party in fact so please dress informally but if you want to wear something associated with the theme of Christmas, be my guest. People will also be asked to bring a present (which I will place around the tree) and an item of food.
The party will start with drinks in my living room (it is small and cosy but I have feeling it will be big enough) around a roaring open fire. There will be traditional snacks available. Being the ex-bartender of the Café, my cellar is stocked with every known beverage known to man so people can have whatever drinks they like.
Later on in the evening, we will adjourn to the dining room where we will have a traditional banquet (apart from those who eat vegetarian). This will start on Sunday 9th.
Then we will have to be in the living room so that we can start opening our presents on the stroke of midnight and wish each other a Merry Christmas. This will start on Sunday 16th.
This thread will finish on Friday 21st.
Maid of Marvels is my lovely hostess and Honey_B has kindly volunteered to be my chef (mmmm! I can smell the cooking).
So come one and all. There is plenty of mistletoe for all those who likes to kiss.
Merry Christmas!
Tib.
