The village was one that worked well on it's own, rarely anyone, other than merchants ventured out of town. The elders always warned of dangers in the dark woods and along the roads. The young women were advised to always be accompanied by a father or a brother.
Scarlet always hated the isolation. She felt as if there was so much more out there in the world except their small village. Women never left. They were born, married and died within the confines of the village walls. It was just her and her mother now. Her father had left into the woods one evening and had never returned. Her mother Rose had not been the same since her disappearance. She became withdrawn from the community. People say she drove her father away.

Everyday scarlet would leave the house to get away. Mostly wander the streets of the village, picking up bread and supples for supper. Sometimes she would skirt the edges of the village the edged the woods. She longed to see what was out there. There had to be something out there.

One morning she awoke to scream. Her mother's scream.

“Mother!. What is worng.”

“I had a dream, your father, he is still out there.”

“Father left many years ago.”

“Go child, you must go find him. I heard of a nearby village with wise men who know of things. Go there and find answers.”

“Mother, I can not leave the village.” the worry in her voice grew with each second.

“GO!.” the fear in her mother's eyes scared her.

She grabbed her red cloak and wrapped it around her shoulders and fled from the house. The notion of her father still bing alive sent her into a trance as she made her way to the edge of the village to the gates.

“Where do you think you are going scarlet?”

“Um....” she paused for a second. “Olaf, I just need to see my grandmother, she lives just down the path. I'll be back before nightfall.” the tall guard smiled. He had always had a soft spot for the girl.

“Ok, just be back soon. I want you to be safe.”

“Thank you Olaf, you have always been so kind to us.” and with that, she slipped though the gates and down the path to the next village

The woods spoke to him

They spoke to him in a way he never knew they could. The thick trees that seemed to stretch up into the heavens them selves, the shocking green leaves and ivy that invaded every thing and the clear scent that hung around the trees and the ground. The animals knew to give him a wide berth acknowledging his reign as king of the forest without a second thought. He drank his fill from the ponds and hunted as he wished. He was kind to the forest and the forest was kind back to him offering him plenty of comforts as if the woods knew he just wanted peace and quite.

He bounded across the forest dodging some trees and dipping his head low to the ground. He was in his wolf form but then again he was almost always in his wolf form. He preferred to be the wolf, preferred surrendering to his baser instinct. It was easier to be a monster than a man he reasoned as he sniffed along the path. If he was a beast he could control himself better than if he had to deal with his human side as well.

Of course he still stayed far away from the village just to be on the safe side. There were two in close proximity but one had a very strict rule against leaving the village. The humans were right to fear the forest because he was a part of it and it’s greatest hunter. He still felt the craving for…. The other some time but the meat he supped on from the forest was plenty filling.

He was managing

He stopped pausing and sniffing the air, what was this? There seemed to be some thing new in his forest some thing wandering on the path.

Some thing human

He shrugged it off turning, humans still traveled on the forest but they stuck to the path all he need to do was stay clear and they would be fine. He was about to leave when the scent fully washed ovr him.

The scent of a woman

His ears perked up his tail twitching, there hadn’t been a woman in his forest for a long time. He felt one of his more… human instincts stirring and turned deciding to get a better look at her. His black fur rippled as he moved bounding back into the forest and going closer to the path.

All the better to see her at

Scarlet dashed out of the gates. She was light on her feet as she made her way along the path and into the woods. The hairs on the back of her neck stood on end, even with the protection of her cloak from the cold. There was something about this that both scared and thrilled her. For the first time in her life, she was free of the confines of the village gate, as well as the watchful eyes of the villagers. Never before had she left the walls of this safety net she grew up on. Even when her father was alive, he never dared to take his innocent daughter from the safety of the walls.

She thought she would never leave. With her mom's illness, the eligible men in the village avoided her like she was filled with some disease that would jump to them if within range of her. It made her sad that she might end up one of those old, bitter spinsters that were house in the community building in the center of town.

But now, she was free at the moment. Scarlet stopped in the middle of the path and looked around. The forest was dark, more shady than anything. She loved it. The dawning light pressed it's way though the gaps in the trees as it made it's way down to the forest floor. The birds chirped as they began to rise from their nest to begin their day. She took it all in, for she knew once she returned to the village she would never be able to leave again, or until she found a man who would settle for her as a wife.

She sighed in a deep breath as she gathered the hem of her long skirt and made her way along the path. It was well worn from the constant travel of wagons and horses. She could see where the main trade route followed, and she followed it too. The nearest village was still a half a day's walk away, but she knew it had to be along this path. She heard the merchants talk about it from all the time she had spent in the market.

The wolf broke through the tree line nearing a creek. He paused and sniffed the air catching the girls scent once more. He couldn’t see her yet but she was close very close. He couldn’t remember the last time A woman was in his forest. The human need and hunger of mating was one of the few things he carried into his wolf form, even if he hadn’t changed in years the desire was still there. He tried to control it lest it turn to the taste of flesh but when a woman was so close and smelled so good it became all the more harder for him.

He reached the edge of the forest and skirted through the tree line. He was close and the scent was beginning to really affect his head. He could feel his body twitching the desire to change to man coming out more and more. He felt his body beginning to change stopping and giving a small whimper. Fur turned to golden brown skin, hair receded becoming long black strands, his body morphed revealing a thin panther like man with brown skin shocking ice blue eyes and a mass of black hair and stubble. He was naked and he paused moving and flexing his body getting used to being a human again.

He reached into the hollow part of a tree and pulled out a pair of black leggings. He pulled them on and stepped out onto the trail enjoying the hard packed earth on his feet. He sniffed catching the woman’s scent again and disappearing back into the forest intent on following her and learning more.

He reached her in minutes keeping in the forest but following her. He smiled pleased she was pretty and young two things he wanted. He wanted to approach her but kept back waiting for the right moment to present himself.

Scarlet made her way along the trail, not taking time to admire her surroundings. If the elders in the village were correct than it was not safe for her to linger any longer than needed. She needed to find her way to the village before night decided to fill the forest and she would be left along and even more vulnerable than she currently was.

She soon came upon a crossroads. A small faded sign stood in the middle of where the road split. Tracks for carts and horses led both ways. A sigh escaped her lips, for she did not expect there to be any deviation from the path. She had thought the path went straight to the other village.

Scarlet took her time, glancing at the sign. Once long ago, names of other villages would have been painted there. Now there were just faded smears of those names. Her heart sane. She wanted to turn back, back to the safety of the village, but if she returned with now news of her father, her mother would be heart broken. She could not face that.

When he had disappeared the first time, she thought her mother was going to die. It took over a year till she even left the house. And still to this day, she barely did, always sending Scarlet out into town to fetch things they needed.

She took a deep breath, and raised the hood of her cloak over her ebony locks, before heading down the fork to the left, hoping it was not the wrong one.

He stepped out of the woods behind her watching her trail down the path… The wrong path that one would lead her deeper into his domain. He debated telling her part of him wanting to get her lost and the other part growing bored of waiting. She was right there and in his eyes ripe for the taking. He was impatient as a man and lacked the patience that being a wolf brought him. If he wanted her… why not have her? Was he wrong to think that?

Did he care?

“You’re going the wrong way” He called out pushing his hair back and moving forward his bare feet padding across the grassy floor as he moved a few feet from her “If you are going to the next village that isn’t the right way that one leads deeper into the forest”

Something about this path she had taken was wrong, but so were the woods in which she was wandering. The air felt cold and sent a shiver up her neck even though it was a warm day.

“You’re going the wrong way” The voice was deep, masculine as it spoke to her.

She jumped and almost screamed at the surprise. She did not think anyone was around her or even coming down the same path. No one left the village with her or so she thought.

Scarlet turned slowly towards where the voice came. Most definitely a he.

“If you are going to the next village that isn’t the right way that one leads deeper into the forest” his bare feet brought him closer to her. She could see his dark eyes as he brushed away his long hair from his face.

She took a small step back from him, his size intimidating and his gaze threw her off balance.

“Um, Thank you. That would have been horrible.”

Scarlet made a movement to go past him, but his large frame stood in the way, blocking her path back to the fork in the road, only bringing him closer to her.

“Not so fast” He purred looking her up and down once more feeling his entire body hum with the animalistic need to take. Now that he was closer to her he knew he wanted her wanted her in a bad way he couldn’t quite shake.

Not that he was trying to

“These woods can be very dangerous for a young pretty girl like you to travel in alone” He said making a sweeping gesture at the forest around them “I am headed to the next village as well I can accompany you easily that way I can make sure you are safe and we both have company”

And in the time it took to cross the forest he would have her against one of the trees. He could feel his hart racing at the thought and bit his lip trying to resist the urge to take her right then there.

He had to be patient

Scarlet Blushed as he stepped out , blocking her way. The hue against her pale skin almost the same as the woolen cloak that covered her hair. she had never been called pretty before. Strange, bizarre. Mostly witch.

His gaze made her nervous. He watched her as if she were a meal, or prey. His stature did not help as he towered over her petite frame by almost a full head. She could feel the flutter of her heart as it rose in her chest. Her breathing picked up and quickened it's pace.

"Company would be nice sir. I have never been to the next city. Never been out of my village in fact." she bit her lip to stop herself form saying any more. She had only met him, and the growing intensity of his gaze kept throwing her off.

“Right” He said his gaze softening a little. There was some thing…. Sweet about the morsel in front of him some thing that made her entirely delectable.

It made him all the more eager to take her

“I can certainly help with that” He said trying to smile as much as possible a act which he knew put most humans at ease. He wasn’t sure if it was working or not so he quickly turned motioning for the girl to follow him as he began picking his way down the trail. His mind was already working trying to formulate a plan on how best to take her.

“Have you been out into the woods before?” He asked raising an eyebrow “I know a few beautiful places a girl like you might be interested in seeing” He said trying to sound as good natured as possible.

Her apprehension towards him changed as she watched a warm charming smile cross his lips, before he turned suddenly from her. With a gesture of his hand, he motioned for her to follow along the trail, back to the main trail from her village. She knew she would be fine as long as she could get back to the fork in the road that had led her to this point.

Slowly they made their way along the trail. she breathed a sigh of relief for the good fortune that was shining down on her. Without him coming to her aid, she could have walked for hours, or even days in the wrong direction. He seemed nice, and his manners towards her were pleasant.

“Have you been out into the woods before? I know a few beautiful places a girl like you might be interested in seeing”
His voice turned from harsh to good natured as he spoke. The idea of the woods had always excited her as a young girl.

"I have not been to the woods before. Girls are usually not allowed to leave on their own beyond the gates of the village. MY grandmother lives right outside the gates and guards would escort us to her home and back." she thought back on the times of comfort in the small cabin that belonged to her grandmother. The soft hand stitched quilts that covered the beds and chairs. The smell of fresh stew and bread filled the air. "I always thought the woods to be a beautiful place, frightening yet beautiful."

“Oh it is the most beautiful thing on the planet” He said his voice taking on a tone of reverence as h looked all around it “Beautiful breath taking there are so many places to see and go to so many forgotten corners of these woods there would b so much to show you” He said looking over at her his handsome face soft and warm suddenly.

“Perhaps one place though” He said reaching out and taking her hand “A place not far form the main trail a small little waterfall you will enjoy” He said whisking her off the trail and into the woods. The wolf navigated it easily as easily as if he had been on four paws instead of in his human form. The place he had picked out would be perfect for mating as well if he could just get her there…..

He finally spotted his target and pushed through emerging with her in a small clearing with a beautiful waterfall cascading down. It made a sound as it crashed but other than that the woods and clearing were quite and they were far enough that no one would think to bother them.

“What do you think?” He asked stopping away letting her see it “beautiful no?”

With a flash they were off, through the woods and away from the safety of the trail. Her heart raced as she breathed hard. She had never seen anyone move this fast before in town, let alone out in the woods. The trees blurred together as they walked, and Scarlet became disorientated as they wove in and out of the trees. The flickering of the light through the tops of the trees did not help at all as she tried to take in their path.

Ahead of them a clearing opened up. Two sides were blocked by cliffs. From those cliffs a waterfall cascaded down and splashed into a crystal clear pool below. The site of it caught Scarlet off guard as she took a few steps ahead of him. She had never seen anything so beautiful in her life. Things out in the woods were so different, so alive. She was starting to feel free for the first time in her life. No confines of the village walls. No mother to keep her hidden indoors.

“Its so beautiful” She exclaimed as she closed her eyes. The sunlight kissed her cheeks and warmed the sweet smelling air. “This is nothing like I thought it would be. Its so alive, so bright. I feel alive, like the forest is speaking directly to me.”

He cloak felt so heavy now that the sun was warming the air. She tugged at the clasp that sat at her throat and let the red fabric fall to the ground in a puddle at her feet. She felt free.

“Thank you for this Mr.....”She stumble and thought about him for a moment. She didn't even know him, at least his name so she could thank him properly. “Oh, I don't even know your name. Mine is Scarlet.”

“My name?” He said frowning trying to remember “John” He finally said trying it out. It didn’t feel right but it would do for now and it was sufficient for his purpose.

Her cloak fell off and he scented her more clearly without the obtrusion. Her scent and fresh nubile body made his cock already half hard twitch and rise even further. Her words also stirred his heart and he smiled a wolfish grin plastered on his face as he walked forward and looked around the clearing with her.

“Yes I come here often” He said nodding at her and breathing in the scent of the trees “It is a great place to relax and find some balance” He said before turning back to her.

“It is also a great place to bring some one” He said moving towards her a hand reaching out and running his fingers down her arm “A seclude place for those wishing to spend some time in tender embrace”

The sudden sensation of his finger dancing along the length of her arm send shivers though her body, even with the warmth of the day. Never had a man been so daring with her. Or so tender. She feared he would stop, yet at the same time she feared he wouldn't

The clearing hummed with life. Nothing stirred, leaving just a silence of the two as they watched the waterfall dance and splash as it fell to the pool. It sang its own song of joy that added to the beautiful emptiness of the clearing. A few birds sang their songs of the morning

Scarlet felt free here. Not confines of the village. It was if she was awake for the first time out here in the woods. She turned to the man.

"Thank you John. You have been most kind in showing me your secret spot." She let her hand rest upon his arm.

“It was my pleasure” He responded the words feeling foreign to him “I had a reason for bringing you here however” He said turning him to her. His hands slid up her arm briefly resting on her shoulder blade before going to her chin. He gently brought her face up in what some might think was a kind gesture. He was a wolf however and didn’t have much thought to kindness or sentimentality. He wanted her and he was going to have her.

Damn any thing else

He leaned down kissing her with the lips that belonged to his other self. He pried open her mouth with his tongue sliding it in as his other hand pulled her closer to him. His musky scent filled her senses and he continued to put her off as he began rubbing and touching her with his hands.

His hands slid down to her backside grabbing the succulent globes in his hands and massaging them whilst keeping her in place. He continued to kiss her passionately testing her and seeing if he would have to use force to take her.

The suddenness of his kiss through her off a bit. She felt her head spin as his scent filled her senses. She feeling of his lips upon hers was so foreign as it was her first, but it was not completely unwelcome. Se felt the urge to push him away as his hands began to wander in a most un gentlemanly of fashion. They began to roam her body as he held her in the kiss, his tongue exploring her sweet mouth.

As his touch came to rest upon her bosom, she stopped in fear. She knew his true intention and she began to struggle. She tried to pull away from him, but his embrace was too strong. Her pressed her hands upon his chest in order to get away. If she could just find space between the two of them she might be able to get away and get back to the main road.

"Stop, please." Her words were breathy and desperate as she spoke.

He felt her pushing and ignored it. He was fully intent on taking her to dominate her as a wolf does with their conquest. Her pushing and trying to move away bothered him little. The hunt was much better when they didn’t go willing any ways.

She was telling him to stop but he didn’t care instead he growled a low angry growl that spoke of how he felt about THAT. He attacked her neck instead biting and sucking drawing her skin into his mouth to taste. He picked her up laying her down pushing her dress up as h began to kiss down between her thigh.

Most wolves wouldn’t want the taste in their mouth but He always enjoyed it plus it made the woman a little bit more subdued. He kissed down her belly his hands massaging her thighs and pushing them apart.

Scarlet gasp as her suckled upon the delicate flesh of her neck. His embrace wrapped around her like a vice, as she had no where to move. Her body struggled to get free, but the more she struggled the tighter he held her to him. She was picked up and set upon the warm ground. The sun that entered the clearing warmed it making the decaying leaves smell rich and earthy.

She tried to scream but fear trapped it in her throat. His hands wandered her body, lifting the hem of her dress. She tried with no avail to pull it back down. She could feel his lips pressing against the soft curve of her belly. His large hands pawed at her thighs trying to spread them open. She tried with all her might to keep them closed. A blush spread over her cheeks as she realized he could see her most private of parts.

A tear rolled down her cheek.

"Please stop" She could feel her body begin to shake. She clawed at he ground trying to push herself way from his touch.
