I like these, you have a good, natural style I think, keep working your on your anatomy and proportion with respect to contour to continue improving, but you look ready to do some stories. We just need to inspire some of these writers to do some things with the visual medium in mind. :nana:

I also believe in taking liberties in my drawings, because the medium allows one to represent the elasticity of the human imagination and create concrete visuals of what is just imagined.
Exactly what I would've said! There's so much fun in seeing where you can go.

I really like the drawing of the girl with the slight roll of belly fat pinched above the rim of her jeans. That's REALNESS right there...and it's a unspoken sexy that doesn't get the press it deserves next to the perfect body ideal where there's barely a crease in a flat stomach wearing a pair of low-rise hip-huggers.

Good, naughty drawings, you have!

I have to agree, I relly like seeing real looking women, it part of the reason I decided to start doing porn erotica, divergence from stylistic idealized perfection seems much mroe easily tolerated in this genre.

In that regard unfortunately, I'm having to break habits, as I tend towards that sort of idealization - probobly helps if you have models, heh. :nana:

I was inspired to reinvestigate a mythofantasy of mine by a wonderful image of Phalo_blue's:

I am toying with the directions to go.
I think the woman should be a bit more Frazetta-esque (VOLUPTUOUS) but should the "beast" be more man or animal?

Does anyone care or have an opinion?

For me, and I will admit I am going off of Royo's Beauty and the Beast series, I would like to see the Beast more Monstrous, not quite animal or man, but something neither. One of the benefits of working in mythofantasy images is that you can go truly as wild as you like.

Personally I would encourage not to make the woman Franzetta-esque but instead make her look like the woman you see on the street, that woman you turn your head to catch one more glance. The very real Beauty with the very unreal Beast, contrast upon contrast upon contrast melded into one steamy scene.

Thats my two cents though.

I've always liked the minotaur concept.

Perhaps the woman was sent as a sacrifice to the Minotaur. She was so beautiful and sad that he took pity on her... but eventually his beastly desires overtook his bit of humanity and he had to satisfy himself with her.

or something.

Hmmmmmm minotaur......

Ok so if we take the Beauty and the Beast myth, she agrees to stay with the Beast to free her father, twist it that the father is village leader and has to sacrifice her to save the village.... give her a predeliction for rougher sex and the thought that the minotaur will ravage her, but she dare not admit that to her father....

There's some real inspiration brewing here Throbbs.

alrighty. Write it.

A bit of Arabian Nights? Typically the beast not only ravages the sacrafice but also eats her... in every sense.
So she must plead and continue to please him. Perhaps it could lead to a breaking of "the spell" (too cliché?), or just escape for the two of them
as she loves him as is?

ooooooh nice blending of ideas!

Damn now I've got ideas in my head.

lalalalalalalala I'm not listenign to you! No more ideas! NO! I've got too many thigns I should be writing already! NO NO NO NO NEW IDEAS!

Damn, why did it have to be a graphic idea to start this out?

come on... write it! You know you want to.

ummm... why does it being a "graphic idea" make it worse?

I think in pictures. If I see it it makes it more powerful. Images make my mind work twice as hard and twice as fast.
