Three Red Roses and One White.

That's what I got today. They are beautiful. I am not typically a rose person, but I am too girly to say that it didn't turn me into a puddle of idealistic goo.

I have to share this story with ya. I once received 5 red roses and 2 black ones for my birthday from this guy I worked with. When I inquired as to what the 2 black ones meant his reply was, "The red ones are for the days of the week we are together, the black ones are for the days we are apart."

Somehow, that just came across as yucky to me. Of course it could have been the guy that came across as yucky. *shudder*


So why the white one?

Symbolizes romantic love, respect, courage, passion and reveals unconscious beauty.

White - Truth
Represents innocence, purity, reverence, humility, and silence.

Carries the message of happiness, admiration, gentleness, grace, joy, sweetness.

Orange/Gold - Fascination
Symbolizes fascination, enthusiasm, desire and enchantment.

OK so I have two pink rose bushes in full bloom and one really colorful bush with flowers that are brilliant orange and gold colors. All in full out bloom. I wish I could share.

The first time I met him, BB gave me a bouquet of gorgeous orange roses. In my book they represent passion. Isn't that sweet? I dried them and am still enjoying them.

I have a fondness for white roses, last time we were together he got me white roses. He said that every time he sees white roses he is reminded of me ... how innocent, sweet, and sincere I am with him ... of course he said all this in spanish and it just melted my .

Orange/Gold - Variation of Yellow: depends on how tired you are
