Ok. Go for it. We all have certain threads that remain favorites even after they've been over for a long time... Or ones that have just begun and have you already salivating over the anticipated actions. It doesn't have to be about the sex scenes, it doesn't have to be about the co-writer; just the fact this thread made you love it so much.

So come on.

Gloat.
Tell us what it was and why you love it so.

One of my current faves...
Ravenlations

E had originally asked me to do a Nel thread with him (from Bleach). I confessed on not knowing the char very well... But when he asked about Raven/BB- welllll.... That changed it. That's one of my favorite parings. Throw in my first time writing multiple characters at once (sorta)... Plus a few conversations about the thread ideas elsewhere and propositioned plans... Yeah. This has become one of my latest favorites.

And come on- Eazy as Beast Boy? Coming up with in char snark is no effort at all for him! :p

... Definitely adding more faves in a little bit! Link hunting time!

I have two that I wish my co-writers would find the time to come back and write with me...

One with Leopald~Bound by Honor~Primal which is starting slow but makes me think whenever I have to craft a response.

And Last City-Dead Earth because DarkDreamer00 is an awesome writer with a great grasp of what makes a story move....

Both of these threads took me out of my comfort zone and made me think of things in a different light...

I am very proud of them...

This ones on hold for now. Hopefully LT will be able to join us back here and will be willing to start this thread back up with me soon. But it's one of the thread's I'm most proud of.

The Vampire Queen's Servant

It's called a sense of humor, Ahren.
You used to have one. I've seen it creep in once in awhile. Wish it would come back again.

Anyway.

Probably the longest lived thread I had:
The Chosen
I loved this thread. Between the amazing vampire that Fenix created (*whines in missing him*), the conflict he and Armphid gave each other so wonderfully, the way everyone played off each other so easily.... This would have to be up there in my favoritist of faves. And even more amazing? There was MAYBE only one sex scene in it and still lasted that long!

Caretaker
A thread with Ahren under his old name with a 1 on it.
I loved this one as being one of my first real catgirl threads to make sense. Ahren seemed to have fun with her naive aspects- and I had a lot of fun writing them.

Pandora's Box
This one was Soru's plotting. A little twist on the myth of Pandora's box, obviously... His character Pithos was something out of a nightmare, but one that I wanted to keep having. Evil, manipulative, yet somehow still managing to be somewhat charming- This was so much fun to write.

My Name is Brandi
A sort of spoof thread to the film My Name is Bruce. E's fanboys, Brandi's smartass comments, and never once a real sign of that demon. :p

I think...
Language Of Angels - I've always liked this thread, but people started talking to me about it so I went back to reread it. I've always had a problem where I get an idea, a concept in my head, and run too far with it. I think, here, I was able to take some things I'd been playing with elsewhere and bring them into a much more coherent work. My dialog is back too (a long lost love) even in the internal monologue. Also, its funny. Vixandra has been great to work with, and my writing is the better for it. Sophia is the sane to Aella's wild.

You Don't See What We See - I'm not sure anyone can understand what I'm writing in some of this (and I mean that in a "I completely failed to use the english langauge"), but some of it I think really works. We didn't go very far with it, but I think I managed to explore what it means to be a non-human. This thing really pushed me further than I thought I could go, thanks to Chas just being so damn brilliant. I owe her more than I think she'll ever believe.

(I think I'll be adding Massacre State Asylum, once we get further

Hmmmm.... threads that I am proud of. There are a few, but only the short list will be posted. In no particular order...

Dominance
This was my first group thread. I managed to get teamed up with some good writers, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tale while it lasted. I made some great friends through it, and learned a lot about writing and dealing with people on Lit.

Away From the World
My first thread with Britwitch, who is a gem to write with. My character in this thread, Jacob, has come alive, and is writing himself. His journey of self forgiveness is one that I enjoy writing, striking the balance between the current events and those of his past. The setting is simple, which allows us to focus on the characters as they deal with what has been happening between them.

Byzantium's Bane
Well, this is a world, and character, that has been developed for about 10 years. They have featured in a few short stories, or shorter tales, in the past decade. Being able to write this opposite DarkEmpress has been a joy, and she has helped bring out elements to Michael that I didn't know were there. This tale is one focused on more religious matters, though more of belief, faith and all those things that tie into them.

An Impossible Blunder
I will admit to some slight nerves as I composed the opening post for my character in this thread after reading the idea, and discussing it with Alana_. But after that, it was a fantastic ride as Alana_ most wonderfully let me steer the over all plot of the thread. She threw some curve balls at me that made me swear at times, but she helped me to keep a certain level of writing, and to push me to explore how to make a character think and feel and for the reader to be able to comprehend it.

Plus, if I recall correctly, this thread has been done with no prior planning by either of us. We have simply written our posts based on the previous post of the other writer.

There may be others that will be added to the list, but I'll save them for later.

Alright, my turn!
Post-Apocalyptic Fun- This one was my first thread ever. Talk about a learning curve. The cast was incredible, and twice I found myself in a corner- once I was rescued by another co-writer, the second time I decimated (and I mean god moded) another char. The god moding worked to further the storyline- this ended up being my favorite thread.

The Heiress- this is just really good smut. Me at my finest. It was fun.

Of Heroes and villians- Me and my partner, Zom. The man is verbose. But the story is so good, and our characters were the best I have ever written. This thread turned me from the one-off sex threads to something more. Explaining Latrice's super powers without ever saying that's what was going on... it was great, and of course, anytime you can make zombies hot- win!

Massacre and Balance belong up here too. I've been fortunate to have some really amazing co-writers.

Is it a sin to take advantage of an opportunity for shameless self-thread promotion? I hope so . . .

The thing I like about looking up the threads posted here, is that not only is it a good way to get a snapshot of a persons writing style, it always shows a little bit about them too. And I sort of subscribe to the theory that 1000 words say more than one picture ever could.

Anyway, I've recently started my first SRP and yes, I'm proud of it. I have an awesome co-writer that clicked with both style and the story, and for me that's really important. I have to want to write, to look forward to reading our new posts and not groan that its my turn. I might agonise over my post, but only as far as wanting it to be as good as I can get it . . .

Anyway, have a look, thoughts and comments welcome. (PM'd not on the thread of course :D)

This thread calls me to post...but I fear posting anything, as I'm just starting to get my writing ability back and striving to improve till it's to my liking. However I think this one will be good once we get the ball rolling.

A Perilous Passion

Love this idea!
Ok so...I can honestly say I’m proud of almost all of the threads I’ve been involved in, and currently am loving all my threads with M13 and of course Massacre and all the lovely ladies therein.
But there are a few of my past threads that I do still go back and read and wish that they hadn’t stalled when they had…

* Madame Guillotine with magbeam
A French revolution romp with intrigue and deception that was just getting really interesting when RL stole my excellent partner away! I was proud of a lot of elements, our collaboration on the story, the dynamic between our characters...lots of things...god I loved that thread!

* The Maiden and the River with Lady_Mornington, magbeam, MelancholyBaby, Anael
I’ve written with the lovely and exceedingly talented Lady_M in many threads that I’ve loved but this one in particular is one that I’d love to see continued one day. A piece set in Finland (can’t think why I liked it so much!) that had the potential for being quite the dramatic romance but it kinda ran aground. There were a wide blend of characters in it and that, among other things, is why I am so proud of it!

* A Kind of Magick with karnelman
A partner I wrote a few threads with back in the day and this was a romantic yarn with a touch of drama about a witch and the young man who crosses her path. Awwwww...
This thread came out of a short scene/story I wrote which then inspired a possible back story. It turned out really well in my opinion :D

* Stowaway with poohlive
Another partner with whom I’ve shared a few threads over the years but this was one of my favourites. Pirates, a princess on the run, romance, sword fights, true love and secrets (thought I should stop as it was starting to sound a bit like the tag line for ‘The Princess Bride’) …it was going so well, would love to have seen where the adventure took our characters! I liked it because it came entirely out of our imaginations as we went along. There was no discussion, we simply responded to one another's posts and I felt it worked...why not read it and let me know if it did :D

You have every right to be proud or whatever other emotions that thread stirs up, it's incredible. As is all of your writing Tears.

Hey, that's pretty much how my thread with Alana The Curse of the Lilin is going too. I had expected alot of coordination between us about the plot, but have been amazed how well she does cold just working off my previous post. Yepp that's a rare talent in this business, she has there.

let's see some more threads I'm really proud to be a part of

The Vassal Academy This thread shows alot of my growth as an RPer and my growth in familiarity within the BDSM genre. It would be worth putting here just for the friendships I've made with my fellow writers on the thread too.

Dark Temptation Another group thread worthy of pride for the amazing collaborative nature myself and the cowriters have stumbled upon and the more novel-like structure the plot and the characters within take.

A Lady in Exile I'm an admitted scifi geek, and that works out well in unison with Scififangirl. Together we've been working out a grand space opera I would've loved to have read from any of my favorite Scifi writers.

Inside the Inferno House IF VA shows my beginning with BDSM this shows my growth from that point.

Star Wars: A Galaxy Turned Upside Down Again I'm a Star Wars nutjob, and this thread has let me run wild in that Universe. Also of note is that this is a very plot heavy thread (several pages in and we haven't even gotten to the sex yet) and even with that I don't care. Sia Klynn my partner in this has been awesome too.

Disclaimer: There is nothing that I've written on the boards that I'm not proud of, at least that I can recall. Even then there is absolutely nothing I'm ashamed of, I take a degree of pride in everything I write here. The threads I will share here, if any beyond the first one or two, aren't even the ones I'm most proud of. I owe a debt to all my partners as well, thanks to you all.

Ok, with that out of the way, there's two I'm sharing right now.

The Guardian This was a very BDSM themed thread with myself and Kaena. I very much enjoyed writing it with her. I reread this one from time to time and have never regretted it.

Black Lotus I took a chance with this thread, Sinful is quite talented and I worried I was up to scratch, and a quasi historical setting was different for me. I used to dread her posts in the absolutely best way possible, because every time she posted I was pushed to keep up, but I loved writing this story.

I agree, Rider, Sinful Whispers is amazing. So many of my favorite old threads back when I lurked here she was a part of. It's a real shame I have never had the oppurtunity to write with her.

So I saw this thread the other day and bookmarked it to come back to, I now have a whole lot of threads to add to my reading list! :D

But yeah, here's what I'm proud of...

Lords And Ladies

This was my first group thread, I kicked it off out of an idea after reading a book. There was no discussion with co writers because I didn't know anyone so people just joined in and we managed to actually create a pretty awesome story line with everyone's random thoughts, twists and turns. It all synced up very well, I was sad that it died but we lost the majority of writers to the dreaded RW. I keep this one forever though.

Taking Online Offline With Marauder13

This was my second thread ever which was my first one on one. It occurred after Marauder sent me a PM to say that while he would love to write with me, the middle ages wasn't exactly his thing (Lords and Ladies is set in the middle ages).

After reading a story on Literotica, I'd already had a second idea for a thread but I was still new back then and had decided to wait, when Marauder PM'd me, I asked him about it. My idea was very insubstantial at the time and I asked Marauder to kick it off, he chose the title - Taking Online Offline (which I love by the way M!) More than a year later, we're still only four Lit pages into the thread with a million ideas to come and more twists, drama and crazy psycho babble than you can shake a stick at! We've had little discussion on the thread, its been more like throwing curve balls at each other and having them swung back and hit ME in the face - thanks for the taking of the bed part M, I'll never forgive you for that one; you brilliant sadistic bastard!

Oh....and Nicholas still has it coming! ;)

A Two Fanged Seduction

This was my second group thread which sadly died due to another unfortunate loss of writers to the RW. The initial idea came from me just wanting to do a vampire SRP - Twilight was rampant at the time and they were popping up everywhere with the most bullshit story lines I'd ever heard!

Initially, it was going to be just very basic but in reverse of normal vampire stories, ours would have the vampire hunter kidnapping the vampire. But I decided I wanted to go better still, so we then mixed History into the SRP and I thought of the one least likely to ever have become a vampire, my thought then became; well, what if Joan of Arc was turned into a vampire?

Because I specialized in her particular history, she was an easy choice for my character. I decided that Fae should have something to her vampire character's history also and she became Vlad the Impaler's personal assassin. Next up was even more back story and I went searching for a fourth person to involve - enter Chgris. He played the part of Nemesis' Sire better than I could have dreamed and we gave him a secret identity as well, a famous figure of history unlikely to ever have become a vampire (no, I won't tell you who, only Chgris and I know that secret and we're not giving it away. No, we didn't even tell Fae or Bsquad who he was!)

We then added flashbacks made up of actual facts and it just flowed into a seamlessly dark story. I hope that one day I shall be able to revive it once again!

That's it for now, though I'll probably add many more later, I'm so proud of the incredible writers I've had the privilege of creating so many amazing stories with!

I just want to offer my tacit endorsement of this thread as it provides plenty of quality reading material for nights/days when the Lounge proves rather slow.

I would chime if in I had any threads to be particularly proud of-I've had some good starts, but ultimately some bad luck and my own failures have killed any threads which have looked promising.

I was unsure if this was worth putting here, but I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best threads I've ever written. It's ongoing and I'll be damned if it's never finished. (Don't think we'll have a problem there.)

Miranda's Bane

Sadly there aren't many threads that I'm super proud of, since they haven't managed to develop very well.
But I must say that my Wolven Hearts story with Luna is one of the better pieces I've written. Aside from the fact that Luna is an awesome person and writing partner ofcourse.

So this is a new thread, but my co-writer- Risen, is- in a word- Amazing. It's rare that I can take my time to develop my character as we have done here, five posts in and I am already in love with my char. Not to mention my co-writer, the man is subtle, aware, and dances with me in all the perfect ways that a co-writer should.

With out further adieu-The Setting Sun
