Thread interest?

I'm interested in starting up a LOTR thread here in ORP. i just want to know who else is interested in this idea and if you have any ideas for me. i have never started a thread here before.

My idea is to have it start out a little before the fellowship splits up. Or to have it start in Rohan for Aragorn Legolas and Gimili and have the oter characters fall into their place.

I'll be happy to join up as well. What about instead of playing established characters in the LOTR movies we make new characters and place them in the LOTR setting....perhaps after the movies a new evil threatens Middle Earth?

Ok, her is what I'm going to do. I will st the basis of the story along the lines of the movie I think starting it is Rohan.

Uruk-hai

I'll do it if we can create characters outside the movie's list. Playing a created character from a form of mass media is too limiting, JMHO.
