Hope this isn't out of line, but I would like to point out a site for you role-players to check out.
HeroMachine v1.0.1
It's a flash based character creator that you can use to bring some visual life to your characters. It runs on Flash 5 I think and the latest versions of IE or NS should run it fine. You can make your characters there and post thier image here. It's pretty cool.
