Where the heck are the wings supposed to go if the new pantyliners for thongs have wings? And if you're wearing a thong..do you need a pantyliner?

gosh

I just had to look. geeeeeeeezzzz

<backs back out of thread>

I'm trying to imagine how that works, and it's just not coming to me...What are the wings supposed to stick to?

I got on Depo five years ago, and haven't had a period since. I love not having to go down that aisle in the store.

Merelan, yup..Period Panties. So what's with the $6.00 for a carton of thong pantyliners? (Cdn)

Until this thread I had never even heard of them.... damn.

Fucking thong panty liners! howls in laughter
I mean seriously..I wear thongs, lol..and there is barely enough room to cover up my lips more or less to wear a pad! lol

I have been wondering about that for a while too..

But being a man ho wmany women would answer THAT question?

Wierd huh.

PantyLiners!!!

NOT MoonPads...LOL

Panty liners are to keep the crotch of yer underwear clean.
Not for Blood absorbtion. LOL! I find the whole idea of wearing a thong extremly funny, So The thought of basically jamming a panty liner between my pussy lips attached to a thong is gut wrentchingly Halarious!

Let's all just buy a moontime cup and be over with this shit.

laughs!

they all feel like a diaper to me regardless if its a pad or a panty liner! lol

Is still laughing!

DepoProvera is my wonderdrug of choice. I originally got on it because I had debilitating pain associated with my period (think passing out in public), so I went to my doctor looking for an effective menstrual pain medication. When I didn't respond to the conventional medications, she tried Depo.

Depo is a birth control injection, administered in the arm or leg once every three months. It's similar to the Pill, but with a slightly different hormone balance. After the first two injections, I stopped having a period. And with no more period, no more pain. Originally I went to the doctor's office every three months for the injection, but now I self-administer it.

The only drawback is a lot of women gain a significant amount weight while on Depo. I gained ten pounds, which isn't much considering my height, but it still bothered me. I lost the weight after another few months, and now I am extra careful about my diet and exercise. Not a bad trade-off considering I don't have to stock any pads, tampons, or "special" underwear anymore.

A whole thread on Depo- see link above to the "How to" board. I eventually decided against using it. Do a search on the Internet, lots of horror stories there. Enough to scare the crap out of me and tell my GYNO there wasn't a chance I was getting that shot.

There is also another injection that you can get once a month, is is more like the birth control pill then depo. Forgive me, I can not remember the name, depo would have been a choice for me but it would not have mixed well with my medication and did not have the ingrediant I needed to help control my ovarian problems.

Good for you! In our gyno clinic we see at least 10 to 15 women per week with complications due to the depo shot, not to mention the ...oops guess what... your pregnant cases.
I guess they get so used to not having a period, they don't think of OTHER possible reasons they aren't having one.

I read the posts in the link you provided, and am amazed at how many bad reactions there have been. I've never had any mood swings (I never PMSed pre-Depo, either, though), I haven't gained any weight past that initial ten pounds, and my sex drive hasn't been affected in the least. In fact, since I never have to worry about it interfering, I probably have more sex than I did before.

And just to let Brazenblaze know there is one happy and responsible user out there, I always take my shot on time and check my blood pressure once a month.
