Oh, I just get a kick out of the temporary thrill. Trolls will find it soon, and then it will fall.

This is actually a story I had sent an email asking have removed from the pending list because I read it again and cringed- it's good, but it's not really smut or stroke and I thought it would get really horrible trolling.

The fact that it's have a brief fling in the top spot makes me laugh and realize that I just need to quit expecting disaster.

Yeah, it's a bittersweet thrill to have some story you're not especially proud of do well. Kind of like shooting a hole in one when you were aiming for another green altogether.

Always do... this is probably the third or fourth time it's happened... it gives me a great natural high and spurs me to write more than ever. I've finished two new pieces, started three more and gotten some serious headway made on a few things that have been languishing. Now I'm looking for beta readers for the first few of my Playlists series... anyone interested, the details are over in the E.F.

And I finally submitted a few more chapters of Falling. *groans* The never ending fanfiction.
