Just heard about
a Springsteen tribute album called "Badlands". Apparently it's covers of the songs from "Nebraska" and sounds pretty cool to me, anyone know about it?
And, just to chime in with my top ten albums in case I'm stuck on a desert island...

2. Purple Rain - Prince
3. Born in the USA - Springsteen
4. Songs You Know by Heart - Buffet
5. Crash - Dave Matthews Band
6. No Fences - Garth Brooks

What good are albums on a desert island? Unless you've got the Professor with you to whip up a turntable out of coconuts, they're utterly useless.

my god all these icons..i feel like I've been decryogened..or whatever that would be. Bite my head off, those of you who know me! But then, on your way to that desert island, don't forget the following: anything by Morphine; OK Computer, Radiohead; No One's Really Beautiful, Jude; anything by the Beatles (ravishing them lately, and aw, what timing with this media blitz over the cd and book)..um..music, oh yeah - #1 and #5 of 65, Afghan Whigs; Pre-Millenium Tension, Tricky; Cesaria Evora; Bedtime Stories, Madonna...
