I have a story which could go in either LW or BDSM.

It doesn't fit all that well into either: it's vanilla sex bookended by some rather extreme 24/7 TPE stuff, including explicit piss play. There's a lot of emoting throughout about how sad and lonely the FMC is. (The setup is roughly that slave helps mistress get ready for a rare visit by her husband, she has tender loving reunion sex with her husband, who leaves too soon, then she takes out her frustrations on the slave. But it's wholesome, if you can believe that.)

I sort of doubt it's going to do well in either category, which makes me tempted to try it in LW for the views and comments.

The only thing holding me back is some comments about LW readers finding all your other stories and downvoting them, leaving nasty comments, abusing you via direct feedback, etc. Cyberbullying is not a fetish of mine...

Advice?

If you're at all concerned about LW readers downvoting your other stories, I'd advise against posting there. It's an older, conservative readership, and I don't think the non-vanilla stuff you've described would go over well there. And if the wife has sex with someone other than her husband, which is unclear to me from your description but sounds like it may be the case, it definitely would not go over well. You will definitely get a lot of views and comments, but you have to decide whether those are worth the potential cost. I'm not at all familiar with the BDSM category, so I don't know how well it would fit there. Good luck with whatever category you decide to go with.

As per above, true advice and not a red herring. Non con maybe or bdsm. LW would not like it. I get that LW dangles the carrot of more readers therefore looks like an easy place to pick up ratings, views and followers, but as I found out, they're a pretty specific bunch. Ask @NoTalentHack šŸ˜€

You might drop it in Fetish? But definitely not LW; they'll hate it.

BDSM, NC/R, or Fetish. The last is a bit of a catch all, and so far in my experience perhaps the most open and appreciative to all sorts of kinks, and yes, fetishes. So I am kind of coming to the view that, if in doubt, Fetish works for me. All three have femdom appreciative readerships, but perhaps Fetish has the highest concentration of that as well.

The Fetish audience tend to appreciate anything with their preferred acts and cope with other content they're not interested in. Just make sure you use the tags.

Well, that's as unanimous an answer as I could have hoped for. No LW for me. Thanks, everyone!
