Visiting with my parents yesterday they presented me with a Forman Jr. Rotisserie like they have.

Now I've had chicken cooked in theirs and found it to be fantastic. Unfortunately my parents don't have a lot of imagination when cooking, they don't experiment with new recipes although they will eat the results of such play. (What this means is all they cook in theirs is Chicken.)

I've been looking mine over and reading through the Users Manual and getting ideas.

This should be an interesting toy to play with.

Rotisseries rock. They're the only way to cook that's actually roasting. Cooking meat in the oven is baking. Try marinated boneless roll of beef on it. It will come out red rare all the way through with only the outside brown. Fabulous. And if you want to flavor a chicken, try rubbing garlic and rosemary under the skin and injecting the meat with lemon juice. It will make you want to get up and dance to Zorba the Greek!

Those both sound good.

On the other hand I have in the back freezer a nice chunk of Boneless Pork Loin just waiting to be cooked.

I'm thinking of injecting it with a mix of Lemon and Powdered Garlic then rubbing the outside with More Lemon, Sea Salt, Crushed Garlic and Cracked Black Pepper.

Damn! It's a shame you're on the other side of the continent. I'd bring the beer.

Update,

The Roast was a two and a half pound piece of Boneless Pork Loin. I seasoned it as mentioned above and let it sit in the fridge overnight.

This evening it was placed in the rotisserie and allowed to cook for about an hour.

Oh man did that turn out good. Tender, juicy and cooked just right without being greasy.

Hmmmmm, I wonder where I can find me some slices of lamb? I've got some ideas about what to do with that.
