Thanks Eve. I know it's pathetic, but it workedWickedEve said:"This poem needs one more vote: Under a Fusillade of Popping Kernel"
I just voted. It's sad when you have to beg. That's what I've been doing lately. lol
I thought it could be the upgrade, but new stories have been updated for the 27th.Lauren.Hynde said:Does anyone know why haven't any new poems been accepted today? Is Laurel on vacation or is there any other more serious problem?
As you can see by my post count, I'm a bottomless pit of wisdom and experience. Hold on to my hand.lickmyboot said:Okay...so maybe the answers to these very basic questions are out there somewhere...but I'm hoping you experienced girls can help a virgin out!
7 daysFor starters, how long does a new poem stay in the new poetry section?
Only poems with 10 or more votes can be in the top lists. If a poem gets 10 votes in the first 5 minutes after being posted and scores highly enough, it will be listed in the new poetry list AND in the top list AND in the general poetry lists (erotic or non-erotic). Those are all independent lists.I still haven't figured out the voting aspect as it relates to the top voted list. Do you have to a certain amount or percentage of votes per read? I look at the dates and it seems like a lot the poems on the list are from last year. Does that mean your poem has to fall off the new poetry section to find it's permanent home in either erotic or non-erotic before it's listed in the polls?
That only works for stories. What you write in ther works as a tag-line for the stories, but not for poems. Poems aren't entitled to tag lines. There are also no categories for poetry, besides erotic and non-erotic, so you don't need to worry about that box.And what's up with the "key words" box in the submission section? Does that box determine when the poem comes off of the new list where it will be placed--bondage, anal, ect.?
Did you refuse the message or did you refuse the acknoledgement that you received the PM? I don't think you can actually refuse a PM. If you go to your User CP, and check your PM in-box, you'll probably be able to see every message sent to you and reply to them. But no matter what, whomever sent you one can always send you another. You didn't block him/her.Also--I think someone PMed me and I think I hit the wrong button and refused their message by accident. My computer went a bit Linda Blair on me at the time, but I didn't see who it was from. Now, I think I may have accidentally offended the PMer. I didn't permanently block that person from ever sending me a PM, did I? My computer was whigging out so bad that I didn't get to read the fine print.
You're welcome. If you need anything else, just ask.Thank you for your guidance!
