“Barack Obama is the most left-wing president in my lifetime,” he said.
Mr. Krohn buried his face in his hands. “Oh, Jonathan,” he sighed.
This is the kind of motherfucker that grows up to be a rich snob with three ex-wives and another wife twenty years younger than him who is fucking other men behind his back.
A self-described "Jewish Christian," he studies Arabic with a tutor because, “before I got into politics, I wanted to be a missionary to people in the Middle East."
"He still has the zeal of a missionary."
Ohhhh, yay. The world needs more of those.
Agreed on both Fox and the sweater, but if he were a Dem he'd be praised by the NYT as emblematic of the Generation Inspired by Obama.Yeah, I saw excerpts of his speech at CPAC on The Daily Show...fuck, it's like the Michael J. Fox character on Family Ties to a T, except it's not a sitcom.
If he were a Dem, at least he wouldn't be wearing that sweater vest.
This is usually why I skip a lot of personal offense and disgust and head straight for pity.
He's like a 14-year-old Joe the Plumber, spinning his happenstance 15 minutes into lasting fame -- something made possible only by the interest of a defeated party desperate for symbols.
Maybe he was too busy performing on that syndicated radio Bible show to read the "do unto others" chapter. I don't know. Why does "Do unto others as you would have done to you." so often translate into "I would want someone to save me!" instead of "I would really like it if people left my personal beliefs alone."
Doesn't seem like a guy who is open to saving or altering of personal beliefs.

Probably by way of the doctrine of Hell. If you believe anybody who doesn't accept Christ is damned to eternal suffering, the Golden Rule mandates you try to convert them whether they like it or not.

Scared seems hardly unreasonable, considering that their stock looks like this.Hmm, maybe, though the NYT is scared of its own shadow these days, so probably not.
As is, I'm sure he's Fox News' poster boy.
Awww, he's a cutie pie.Scared seems hardly unreasonable, considering that their stock looks like this.
As for the poster boy.... He could be the next Sean Hannity and the future of the GOP. Yes indeed.
Haha, it looks more like a Rush/Jonathan hybrid.
I don't find the kid charming, and missionary zeal is a giant honking personal negative in my book - regardless of age.Awww, he's a cutie pie.
Seriously, he's 14, and he handled that interview flawlessly and with great charm. I went to school with kids like that, on the debate team. Good for him. He's young, full of zeal and conviction.
But what does this say for the Republican Party? Is it really time for the circus acts? I mean, first they go with a drug-addled, latently homosexual egomaniac - did you see Rush at CPAC? Jesus, hahaha, not a good look. Now they're setting up a 14-year-old kid as the face for the Republican Party? A kid? That's all you got?
I guess they already tried Caribou barbie, they tried to infuse the GOP with some "hip-hop" flava, but that didn't go so well, so next they got a cute kid on the debate team!
Ahahaha, where are the fucking senators, governors, citicouncelmen/women?
I guess if there's no bread, gotta ramp up on the circus...

Maybe I just hate overachieving little dbag kids because I'm an unemployed construction worker.
