Some of you know, my girlfriend, Linny, went to Hawaii to visit her daughter last February. That was great for her, except she had a major stroke while she was there and ended up in the hospital.
The application of the blood-thinner, Clauseril, was, of course, the absolute WRONG thing to do. As I tried several times to explain to the Cardiologist, Linny had a blood clot in her leg from a skiing accident a couple of years ago. The Clauseril simply began breaking off pieces of the clot and caused more strokes until it came to the point where she was bed-ridden, unable to speak or use her hands and arms.
Eventually, the doctor called in an Arterial Surgeon who removed the clot. At that point Linny began to improve rapidly. Then she had a heart attack in the hospital (heart attack and stroke are not the same).
Then they put in a Pace-Maker. Unfortunately, the instrument they put in was defective and they had to replace it.
Now it's September and Linny is using her arms, talking and so on. She's even in physical therapy to learn to walk again. But the Doctor fucked up <shaking head>. He made the mistake of talking about Linny with her daughter IN FRONT OF LINNY. So she bit him. Almost took off a piece of his hand.
So the Doctor (unbelievable!) filed suit again Linny for assault!
Oh, it gets better.
Two days later the physical therapist comes into Linny's room, stands her up on her feet and walks off. Naturally she fell, injuring her back. Now she's filed suit against the hospital.
Finally, the good news - Linny gets out of the hospital tomorrow after EIGHT MONTHS. She still in physical therapy, but she should be home by Christmas
