I woke up this morning to a very cold house and went to look outside only to see SNOW on the ground. SNOW!

Now I have nothing against snow but, quite frankly, I have had enough winter to last me until next October or November and I want some nice weather now. I want some gentle spring rains that arent cold....I want some gentle breezes that I can enjoy while sitting on my porch or out on my swing....I want to start seeing GREEN instead of WHITE!

Okay...I now feel better having gotten that off my chest. Thank you all for letting me do that. *goes in and make LOTS of hot chocolate and snuggles down into her blanket to wait until spring decides to show up*

It was mid-80's here yesterday, almost a record high. Today is back in the 60's, but I can finally see hints of green in the backyard grass! Of course, that doesn't mean we won't be dumped on with 6 inches of snow next week.....

We had an interesting storm last night. It was lightning for about an hour before the rain finally came down, and came down hard, mingled with HAIL!

Today, spring is definitely in the air. It's gorgeous outside! I'll have to go for a nice long walk soon. Wish I had a doggy to walk, though.

Here in sunny Tennessee on Palm Sunday morning it is a balmy 75 degrees with a warm spring wind blowing, and it's headed for at least 80 today.

The heat has finally killed the month-long blooming daffodils and forsythia (must be a record), the tulips and pansies are starting to grow limp, but the irises are ready to bloom, rosebuds are forming, and the dogwoods and redbuds, flowering pear, and bunches of other trees and shrubs are in bloom. Surely the sap is rising!

We went from a record cold winter straight into summer...whew! Spent the day sweating in t-shirt and shorts yesterday..***** is good!

I miss those northeast springtimes...today is a "Wallace Nutting" kind of day....all the trees and shrubs wearing their finest Easter pastels, moving in the balmy wind.

Now, to take my lover down by the river...

if your weather is fucked up now wait until G.W.Bush has finnished fucking with the anti greenhouse treatys then you'll have some reall weather to worry about

Who said anything about the weather being fucked up? This is normal weather for this time of the year! Yesterday could be almost record heat, tomorrow could be almost record cold. I like the variety of the midwest. Keeps me guessing.

Its kinda icky here too. The weather was all rainy. hehe.
Its starting to clear up though. So im neither happy or sad about it. i dont mind any kinda weather.

Hope that snow melts for ya real soon though Isolde. thats a no no. :)

Snow? Damn...I"m frying here in Kentucky...I"m naked and still sweaty!!! Grrr...gonna pass out fromt he heat lol

I am jealous of all of you that are having nice weather! *snuggles even deeper in the blanket* Even Mystery...I wouldnt mind rain if if was a warm one.

Heck, I wouldnt mind the snow if I had someone to snuggle with me under this blanket!

It rained all over the prospective freshmen visiting the campus yesterday, but today is absolutely beautiful. The ocean is so clear it's sparkling.
