This is Refreshing

Unless you consider that it took them six years to get around to convicting him and getting him locked up.

But it took six years because he was rich and famous (to some), so not all that refreshing in relationship to being rich and famous, I don't think.

I mean, it was his gun, he had a reputation for putting its barrel in the mouth of women who rejected his advances and threatening to blow their heads off, and when it happened, he admitted he'd done it. Where does the refreshing part of six years to conviction come in for anyone not rich and famous?

I guess you don't watch Jay Leno a lot. ;)

I didn't know it was possible to convict a celbrity of anything in California!

OJ, Michael Jackass, Robert Blake ...

Our problem is that the DA's office never took celebrity crime seriously until they lost three in a row. The next one will probably get the death penalty!

According to his wife

and some other women; Phil was a mean-ass drunk who enjoyed (needed) to intimidate women when he couldn't get it up.....Pity he was allowed to go on for as long as he did......
