1. These mass shootings are just opening salvos in the coming civil war. The Left has decided to up the political ante and begin murdering innocents and the unarmed who cannot fight back. The Left will then claim that the only way to stop the escalating violence is for the public to submit to them. The police cannot prevent this so the body count will continue to climb while the Libs clamor for more gun control to disarm an already disarmed public until the public submits.

2. Gun control means hitting the target what's shooting at you. It is time for THE PEOPLE to get angry and openly arm themselves again. Innocents will suffer when this happens BUT innocents are already suffering. The question is whether YOU want to be one of the casualties.
 
So there have ben 6-8 victims and the church is pretty much burnt to the ground, but 'the threat has been neutralised'...

When?

Nothing was 'neutralised', the people are dead or wounded, the church is on fire - 'the threat lost momentum' is the 'best' you can say.
