Now that's a happy thread, huh? Just saying Merry Christmas to all.

Post happy thoughts here.

New puppies.
Crazy kittens tearing through wrapping paper.
Dropping change in the Salvation Army bucket.
Kids sitting on Santa's knee.
Spouses who always give the perfect gift.
Young lovers with no money celebrating in bed.
Old people who love sharing memories, and young people who listen to them.
Cinnamon sticks swirling hot cider.
Fresh baked bread, and hot gravy to dip it in.
The lights on your tree.
The nip in the air.
The mall full of people.
Stores that stay open on Christmas Eve.
Candy canes.
Fudge, still warm from the oven.
Grandma.
New babies, and that "new baby smell."
Roaring fires, and blankets to lie on.
Warm sheets on a cold night.
Ice on your windshield, and you have the day off.
Travelling.
A new car for Christmas.
An old car for Christmas.
The way your parents house smells, and the way they keep your bedroom looking the same.
Comic books for kids.
Christmas specials on the tube.
Laying around in your socks.
Football on TV.
Love.
Cute girls with accents.
Literotica.
Your fantasy goddess, or god.

Sorry sweetie I have to agree with Tiggs here, I have deflowered 3 virgins and I am not really looking to do it again but {{Todd}} hugs I have plenty of for you.

Warm weather.
Looking at northern plates on a car headed NORTH.
The mountains of Virginia.
The smell of wood smoke.
The smell of decaying leaves.
The woods after a rain.
Log cabins.
Butter biscuits.
Honey warm from the hive.
Lye soap.
A policeman letting you off with "just a warning."
Turtles playing on the riverbank.
Deer, eating clover.
The protectiveness of a new mother.

Happy Stuff.

Yesterday, I got a call from my best friend since sixth grade. She was in town for the day and we got together, at first for coffee, but then we ended up spending the whole damned day together. It was such an unexpected, wonderful surprise. She doesn't live too far from the Bay Area, so when I move down there, I'll be able to see her more often. It was a good day, reminiscing about the past and making plans for the future. I'm going to see her again over Christmas, because she's staying with her folks, and I'll be staying with mine and they're still neighbors.

It's such a blessing to have a friendship so solid it has survived so many years, through childhood, teens, adulthood, illness and health, moves across the world and back again. We can be separated for years, and when we meet up again, it's like we never said good-bye.

Damn, I had a great day yesterday. Today doesn't look so bad, either.

Other happy things: being cuddled up in warm blankets when there's rain pattering on the roof, Ricola cough drops, not having to tell him to take out the trash, Literotica board banter, otters, plush alligator stuffed toys, 50 degrees and drizzling when it's snowing down south, big cuddly orange cats, Buddy Holly songs, and hot chocolate.

Silliness.
The salvation army.
The salvation navy.
America.
The fantasy goddess.
Everyone at Lit, yes even Nitelight.
Good times.
Older whiskey.
Faster horses.
More money.
