This is Marley...

I'm not that much of a dog person, but damn, does she look cuddly. :)

She is absolutely adorable.

I would make one suggestion for her paperwork (vet records, dog license, etc.). Call her a lab cross versus a lab/pit bull. Laws governing pit bulls are becoming increasingly draconian in some places. She looks more like a lab and having pit bull associated with her lead to problems later on.

I've never met a puppy I didn't like. I've even met obnoxious toddlers but never a obnoxious puppy. Give her two years and no one within a hundred miles will dare get near Spidey with ill-intent. Had a German wire-haired pointer like that once when the kids were small.

God, that was a long time ago . . .

That's what I'm counting on. :)

Spawn had such a protector: my australian shepherd Taz. I wanted Spidey to have one, too.

Freshface: I live in Alabama where we have sense enough to realize that a dog is almost a pure reflection of its owner. Pitbulls aren't feared here, and they're so numerous as to be common. I took Marley with me today to pick Spidey up at school, and as we were walking back to the car, a lady stopped us to pet Marley, and asked what kind of dog she was.

I replied "Half Lab, half bulldog."

She smiled, and said, "Oh, that's a GOOD dog you've got."

And I bet Marley was delighted to be reunited with him? How excited did she get to see him again? :D

She was sleepy, and it was raining, but once she woke up, she was happy. :)

It's hard to drive with a puppy crawling all over you. Learn something new every day...
