The cat doesn't quite know what she is, I don't think. Stella has sniffed a lot, hissed once, and then decided she couldn't be bothered then went back to sleep.

Spidey has been absolutely begging for a dog for about a year. We recently went to visit a friend of mine in Tennessee, and they have a couple of dogs. He proved himself beyond capable of taking them for walks, etc, even though one of them is a full-grown version of the puppy we just got.

One of the guys my husband works with had a litter of puppies, so we decided that he was old enough to get one, and husband surprised him with Marley yesterday afternoon.
