This is Marley...

Thanks, y'all.

Youngest son has fallen deeply in love. Hasn't left her side since we got her this afternoon.

Too cute.:)

How does she get along with the cat?

The cat doesn't quite know what she is, I don't think. Stella has sniffed a lot, hissed once, and then decided she couldn't be bothered then went back to sleep. :D

Are we still talking about the cat?

yes. :D

Oddly enough, the cat is named Stella (she was already named that when we got her).
Well, I didn't really think our Stella was the type to hiss at puppies, but I just wanted to be sure.

Toooooo cute! And was there a particular reason for getting Marley? Is she a present for anyone? Or did one of the neighbor dogs just have a litter and she was up for grabs?

Come on Cloudy! Tell the whole story. How did you happen to pick her?

Auntie Liz can babysit (yes they are babies even my miniature pony that is a full grown lab is a baby) bring Marley over to Indianapolis :D

Spidey has been absolutely begging for a dog for about a year. We recently went to visit a friend of mine in Tennessee, and they have a couple of dogs. He proved himself beyond capable of taking them for walks, etc, even though one of them is a full-grown version of the puppy we just got.

One of the guys my husband works with had a litter of puppies, so we decided that he was old enough to get one, and husband surprised him with Marley yesterday afternoon. :)
