My daughter is a teacher and forwarded this email to me. I removed the names for obvious reasons.

Look what our brilliant school nurse wrote about the discharge!!!

Subject: Pink Eye

A parent called to inform me that her son was seen at Reagan Medical last night and was diagnosed with Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye). The attending physician stated that he has seen a huge number of patients with it. I've seen about 3 or 4 cases (undiagnosed, of course) this week. It is very contagious. Please send students to the clinic if you are suspicious. Symptoms are red puffy eyes, pussy discharge, and itching. One student is
missing the Gateway today because he caught pink eye from school so let's keep our eyes open. If a student is diagnosed with Conjunctivitis he needs to be on an antibiotic drop for 48 hours before coming back to school.

Thanks.

Does that mean it's kinda like a yeast infection?

Well, it IS contagious

LOL

Even more funny than reading (especially here at LIT) "pussy discharge" was the "so let's keep our eyes open" comment!

Thanks for sharing, miles!:rose:

Well of course that's the correct word - how else would you spell pussy?
