Hey, it occured to me a while ago that since I stummbled onto th BB (about 4 months after first visiting the site), reading a story here has been a rare event. I do of course check them out on occasion, but it used to be a daily thing - now I often go months without looking.

Has anyone else forgotten what this site is and neglected to read the stories and check out the other adult stuff?

.....me me I have. I realized yesterday it has been weeks since I have gone to the story section. The stories are why I found this site but now that I am here the board has me hooked.

A little sentimental.....

I must admit, that is true for me as well. I stumbled on this site (thanks to Richard's Realm). What attracted me to the site, was the stories. I put off looking at the BB for months. One day (Jan. 16th) to be exact, I got adventurous and checked out the BB. Two days later, I joined the BB and started my posting journey. Since that day, I think I've read about 5 stories. I have so little time now that I'm lucky if I get to check the board, or I might get to check it, but responding isn't always possible. UGH!! I need a work-at-home job!!! LOL

The up side of this whole story, is that I've come to know some really great people. I know that there are some friendships out there waiting to happen. I have confided in some people, I've been confided in. I've done some things that I would never do before...like get the courage to post my own stories, or send people naked pics, or tell people my deepest fantasies...

Thanks to all of you who made me feel welcome (DCL, Lasher, Endlessly, Nurse, SB, Xander, Ravenloft) in the beginning. Thanks to those of you who I've come to know so well. Thanks to those of you who have continued to be a support system for me. Thanks to those who I have yet to get to know, but will soon (I hope).

What you all said. I don't read that many stories. It's often too much of a hassle to weed through the stories to find something I might like. I think the new script is a big improvement because it lists the author. There are certain authors who are my favs and I will read anything they write. Other stories I read come to my attention because of comments made on the BB.

I don't know about you all but I've read so many stories that many start to sound the same. I like wild and crazy and something different, and with a fucking plot.

Me, too! I usually get to the general board and the "how to" board, sometimes. Rarely get much farther than that, and I can't remember the last story that I read. Sorry, authors. If it makes you feel better, I don't get to other adult sites, either. And, actually, not many other places on the web at all...... hhhhhmmmmm... why is it starting to sound like the only place I get to at all is the general bb?

I've found that I'm totally addicted to the board, and I rarely read the stories anymore. I'm enjoying getting to know the people/personalities here. I go back to the stories once in a while, and I'm sure I'll get back there again.. For now, I'm quite content.

Seriously, I'm pretty much the same but it's not just because I like to hang out at the BB more. It's also because(and no offense to those who work on the site)I know other sites that have larger selections that are easier to search around through. But this is the only site I know of that has interactive storys so I check those out once in awhile.

Like everyone else, the stories sucked me in and the BB kept me. I haven't read a story in months, nor do I see it happening anytime soon. I don't really have time for porn anymore with the ORP section, General Board, and I'm currently writing a book(fantasy, not porn). I love this site and let Laurel know this about once every half hour.

I started coming to Lit because of the stories. On occassion I go back and read some of the stories/poems, especially when one of the people from chat have one posted here. I got "hooked" on chat a year ago, and just recently the BB. I am one of the chat monitors for Lit, so my time is spent more in the chatroom than anywhere else on the site.
