anyone else has seen this?

Is it digitally manipulated as a plan idea, or if they did this and someone took a photo of it?

If it is a plan of what we should do, I think I am awestruck.

This would be perfect in my eyes.

You cannot destroy the light of freedom.

Maybe that particular photo is touched up a bit, but the towers of light are real. They lit them, I think, on March 11.

Thank you. I've been out of touch with life aside from mine for about 3 weeks.

Thanks again.

Isn't it lovly?

Some people have complained that it looked "ghostly". Personally, I think it is magnificent.

I agree with the magnificent, and don't think that "ghostly" is such a terrible effect in the circumstance.

I understand they're only going to be on for 35 days or so.

I got the same pic in an email. I think it's a beautiful tribute. And yes, it's only going to be there for a short time.

I understand it being limited time wise. I am sure it costs a small fortune to provide the eletricity needed to have them there.

Still, it is touching and a beautiful way of remembering.

I believe I read that the light was generated by 86 high powered spotlights. Pretty amazing sight.

Wow...amazingly gorgeous. I'll just sit here and stare at it for a while. Don't mind me. :)

i saw that when i was in the city. i think it looks amazing. you can see it all over the city, just as you could once see the towers.

I think they should keep them forever as a monument to september 11th attacks on the world trade center. I think this way is one of the best ways to honor the victims of the disaster. I can't think of a better memorial.
