Cool, but doesn't that happen in alot of the playgorund and to a lesser extent the GB threads?

Do you think people who post in those forums are going to be less likely to post in this one?


(Don't get me wrong here, I'm all in favour of this forum, just wondering what people are hoping to use it for)

All I know is I do not post anywhere but Ampics...I think I may have made one post total in another forum. So I think this is going to be a good forum for all of us that know eachother from Ampics to chit chat.
I can already sence that shyguy, and us other poters, are going to do everything in our power to kick trolls back to where they came from. To be seen.

I think it's a great thing, a no troll zone would be a first on Lit but that's why we have the ignore feaature, lol.

Yep. I said so in another thread I started (the FIRST ever thread here in the Lounge, hehe. Yes, I'm proud of that. Yes, I'm lame.)

I used to post on the GB but people just ended up getting on my nerves too much, and they were so rude (well, about 90% of them) and if they weren't rude they were usually trying to get attention by posting stupid stuff. Granted I did, too, but I love the AP forum better because I don't think I've met one rude person here yet.

well first off it's nice to see u around here, have not seen u for a long time...

second I for one hardly go on GB, and when I do I get mad either because people post stuff I do not like or because they think they are all that, yeh the "trools", and I for one am not a member of the playground, so this is a nice place to get together with my friends and just talk, it is pretty funny how the people in the AMpics forums become such good friends and never get critesized, no matter the beauty or the size, ot the attitude, yep we will throw away trolls they want to smash people do it on the GB, not here...

It's nice to see and I do agree AmPics is a different group of people amongst Lit people. I guess we have to be eh? With only 5 pages of threads we certainly are in the minority compared to the Playground and the GB so I agree, it's nice to have a chat/post forum such as this to call our own.

The GB folks enjoy being contreversial and sarcastic and caustic.

The playgrounders are all for flirty fun.

The AH'ers are writerly sorts who like to chat and mingle with other artists.

And the list goes on...

This is a place for those who post pics to gather and chat, not always about photos, taking photos and the whole Am Pics dealie, but it's an informal place to gather, to be with other people who enjoying doing just what you enjoy doing.

I like the use of the word lounge, I think it's spot on. A place to relax, chat and communicate with other people in the same house (forum)

It's ok for anyone to post whatever they like here or anywhere on Lit really. As long as you kind of stick to the theme of the board or the thread your posting wherever you choose to should be fine.

I guess this forum was created for people who post in AmPics to post comments or the like in without there being pictures attached or expected but it is by no means exclusive to those people. Remember people who post pics in AmPics only make up a small percentage of 'AmPics people", it's those who post in their threads that make up the vast majority.
