Not going to happen. QBs the league over will be up in arms about how the ball feels 'different' with a cam in it.

I am already afraid of what sort of touchdown dance someone will come up with using the camera as a prop, but am interested to see what it's like to be spiked.
remember the red puck from fox tv and the nhl??
Have the Brits try it out on soccer first.
Not sure you could build a sturdy enough camera to cope with having the shit kicked out of it for 90+ minutes.
The problem is really the same in both sports, however. By the time TV fans saw the ball going through scores of rotations through 360+ degrees of space they would be upchucking their beers and nachos all over their $1,500 HDTVs.
Also, in "real" football (i.e. American), I don't particularly want a close up view of the center/QB exchange.
That's the whole point of the original link, the camera compensates for rotation and you get a steady ball's eye view. The tech is kinda cool.
this isnt ireland yet seanny!! allthough obama is trying!! here in the usa we have choices
I can't imagine interest in a high revolution view of the sky and the field.
