Whatever.

Just blurt it.

I miss 3D Doritos. I actually liked those.
I actually miss college. Certain classes, anyway.

I miss..

Big Daddy.

Pronto corn chips.

One of the flavors of MtDew they only made for two years.

Gaming every Saturday until Sunday.. 24hr rpg for the Nerdy win!

My 3 foot tall GodZilla.

I miss the rectangular pizza I got on friday's back in school. I used to fold them over like a flatbread sandwhich. Sure they weren't authentic and doesn't hold a candle to real pizza, but they were good.

That and the cinamon rolls we had every time we had chili for lunch in school.

Sweet and tangy barbecue sauce...I can't find it in the grocery store anymore...apparently I was in the minority of customers that chose their barbecue sauce based on how good it tastes rather than if it was soooo hot it would make me slap my momma. Why most barbecue sauce companies want me to assault my momma-I don't know,

Saturday morning cartoons, real saturday morning cartoons...the stuff they have now only just barely qualifies. They're on air on saturday in the morning and they're cartoons, but that's where the comparison ends.

A really good, smart, science fiction show on tv.

Nostalgia thread? Nostalgia thread.

I miss good cartoons on Saturday morning.

I, too, miss the good ol' saturday morning cartoons. I also miss the stop sign mexican pizzas from middle and high school. They were sooo greasy, but so tasty at the same time.

I miss not having to worry about more than what was going to be on the midterm, and before that, not having to worry about more than what I was going to waste my time doing on a saturday night.

I'm with Soru and Veroe. The old Saturday morning cartoons were amazing. I would struggle to wake up for school, but come Saturday I was up bright and early for my cartoons. Now it's nothing but anime.

One thing I'm tired of is the dumming down of RPGs. I don't know what happened but it seems like every other game whether it be from Bioware or even Bethesda seem to feel that RPG is a dirty word and so they have "streamline" their title like Dragon Age Elder Scrolls. I miss the depth that those games had, interacting with the world in such a extensive way. I miss that, but it's that sort of thing that makes me not all that excited for Mass Effect 3.

I miss:

Snow for the holidays

my saturday night rpg game

my twenties.

The show firefly.

Being in love.

Reading books I love for the first time. (I still do this, but I can't read them again to the same effect... You know what I mean.)

Having no unanswerable questions about the nature of the universe.

The beach.

My brother.

My grandma.

Going to the michigan games with my dad before they raised the ticket prices. (Bastages!!)

Having a VCR. I have awesome movies on VHS. :/

Me to :(

I was awesome at 18.

I could jump kick a person in the face, run for hours [Or felt like it] and I would do those 24hrs CoC games...

All night V:tM, DnD, W:tA, M:tA

(haven't gotten a good table top game going in forever!!)

LARPing.

Loud thunderstorms in the mountains. (Stupid valley)

Being able to dance/fuck/play all night without needing sleep the next day.

Though I play a wicked Assamite...whenever we do expanded...

Gods I miss Vampire the Masquerade.

Requiem isn't nearly as much fun.

I agree, it feels like they dumbed it all down.

I actually got away with a Tremere School girl [75 going on 18] in both table an LARP..

Mmmm Gangrel Luna can nibble me any time.

Hmmmm... Nosferatu, Tremere & Tzimisce were the ones I got up to most fun with. All of them in different ways, but there were times I made my fellow RPer's jaws drop in surprise.

And then there was one Toreador, Selene, that I did in a thread here. I'd love to play her again sometime.

I played a Malkie once (Elder)

but mostly I like to just beat the shit outta things and not talk about it...so Gangrel was the best fit.

(Dang it M, you gotta find me the Torey now...so I can read)

Women wearing stockings in everyday life.

(I still have a VCR)

Good to see you too. A post will be coming soon.

Of all those systems, M:tA is my favourite. I adored the setting and with the ST we normally had, the sessions were just fucking wicked.

I'll be in a tabletop game this Sunday, with a core group that has been playing regularly for over 20 years. All good fun.
