Ok, I've watched this board kinda sit like a timid virgin afraid it might hurt. So Lets break this cherry in with something simple. Share what you like to do online.

Non Sexual things you do online. Please include the url.

Myself, the wife and I enjoy several online games, heck we met online in a gaming system and we still haven't lost the urge to kill stuff online.

The Kingdom of Drakkar (free and paid)
Download: Yes
Game Type: Multi-player/online
url: www.kingdomofdrakkar.com

Blacknova Trader (free)
Download: No
Game Type: Multi-player/online web based game.
url: blacknova.phoenixguild.net/login.php

Got a game? Got a website you like to visit frequently? Share it with us.

I am an interesting mix. I love Lit, love the stories, and sharing with the Lit community my great sexual wisdom...LOL

But I use the web a lot for one of my passions, quilting. I belong to an online quilting guild, and have used a lot of different websites to learn more quilting skills, get new ideas, etc.

And of course, eBay...

And of course, shopping...

sadly... mostly I'm a Lit and Livejournal junky.

I use the computer for writing, and communication mostly. You can wipe everything out of my computer but Word, Internet and AIM ... and I would be more then happy.

I also like www.homestarrunner.com for the SB emails.

And when Lit interests me in something, even the odd and completly non sexual .. I look it up and find pages of research, print it out and file it. I'm sort of a research junky as well. Today and this week/month it was shopping for M and I, finding a Munch group to attend or start up and gathering info on Cupping (the accupressure tech.)

I used to use the internet for:
researching local history
finding images for personalised cards certificates etc
images for graphic manipulation
maps for work
software (software junky)
building websites
porn (der)
weather
medical
random amusement
etc etc.

Now! Lit.

Lets see..

I read the news..

Check out the weather.. (Sorry it's kind of a local thing so no link)

And I do this..

www.geocaching.com

I know I'm such a geek..

hhmmmmm let's see....

I run my photography business from my website
Precious Memories Portraits
and play games at Pogo.com

I also use it to look for graphics and images, since I design websites and webpage graphics for other people.

Other than that...
research and surfing, just like everyone else.
Oh and of course, I'm a Lit addict lol ;)

I use the 'net a lot for work, since I work from home 90% of the time.

Used to play on line games but for some reason, I keep getting "Java not enabled" and I don't know how to fix it :(

I'm never online...... *jumping left to avoid the lightening bolt*

I do lots online actually. Some of my work is done online, communicating with clients and sending reports etc. But it has become less as I've been working less of late (medical stuff).

I also use it a lot of research of medical questions - I like the mayo clinic site and sometimes webmd.....

If I see something throughout the day I jot it down and then look things up - google is my friend! I love to learn new things.

I stay in touch with friends and a few family members via email etc. Although most of my family is not computer literate - my father at 77 knows more then a few siblings.

I do use the net for comparison shopping etc, but have found I'm more likely to purchase items in a store instead of online - except for toys, I don't have access to an adult store nearby.

I like to play backgammon online but pogo has been blocking me of late - I think it is something about firewalls etc. Haven't spent much time trying to figuring it out.

I do get news online more often now too - I like Reuters.com a lot.

Of course there is Lit....

I'm actually loyal to very few sites. My interests can sift like wind, and my internet surfing reflects that. Lit is a standard, as is my email and real life functions such as online banking/bill pay. I love travel, so I do frequent the fodors.com message boards frequently to decide where I want to go next and to read where people have been and to research places I want to go.

Currently I'm planning a trip to Spain next Sept/Oct, so a lot of my surfing is in relationship to finding hotels, figuring out itineraries, learning the history of Spain, learning what is there to see, finding out about public transportion, doing comparatives on rental cars, and attempting to read the local papers. (in Spanish, so that is a bit of a challenge!)

I'm sure once I've completed the trip something else will take up my interest and I'll be off to surfing a different area of the web!

Lady G....I don't know much about computers, but I play a lot of silly yahoo games online and i've gotten a similar message. Sometimes all you have to do is reload Java....try this

I hope this helps....

As for me, I use the web for school, the news, email, and of course Lit....

Thanks for that link MOW, I was having the same kind of problem..... :rose:

LOL! Well when I started this thread I guess I meant what people do for entertainment online.

I also work online and if I posted my bookmark file you'd find 20-30 entertainment sites (tops), maybe 20-30 porn sites and over 2000 reference sites relating to programming and or net technology. Plus about 100 miscellaneous client websites.

Two sites which I often refer people to are;
www.quackwatch.org and www.randi.org

However, if you're happy in your beliefs of things like psychics, or homeopathic remedies and can't stand a critical examination of that sort of stuff. I do not recommend you visit either of websites. :)

Thank you! I'm downloading right now :rose:

Besides coming here, which is about 80 percent of the time, I like to browse the auctions on Ebay. I also go to IMDB.com for celebrity/movie info, and I also go to www.rottentomatoes.com for their movie reviews.

Generally, Lit.

then when I need to get sex off my mind, I'll check out overstock.com to shop, or askmen.com just to dick around.
Mostly just MSN after that....

I used my computer at work for research and making travel arrangements. This past Christmas I did most of my shopping online through various places. One of my fun finds is a new auction site: www.shopgoodwill.com

There is all kinds of stuff to sift through there, it's not quite as overwhelming as ebay and I think the prices are more reasonable.

One of my favorite travel sites on the net is

www.traveltex.com

Poke around there for awhile. They change it frequently. There is lots of fun to be found there!

I like to play an MMORPG (mulit-massive online role-playing game) called Asheron's Call. Turbine produces and develops it. A lot of the websites I visit relate to AC, such as forums, fan sites, etc.

And I'm a lit junkie. Who here isn't? ;)
